It says a flight between Auckland and Christchurch is included but I'm not sure why we'd be flying there. Doesn't the tour start in Auckland and end several days later in Christchurch? Also wondering how much it would be to ensure a private room at the hotels.

The flight from Auckland is included on day 7 of the tour. You will spend 7 days in the North Island before flying to Christchurch for your second week. You can choose to upgrade to a private for for an additional NZD $150.00 per night - Total of 13 nights would be NZD $1950.

Is the pick up location "Swashbucklers, Westhaven Marina" the Swashbucklers Restaurant & Bar at 23B Westhaven Drive, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010?

Our tour departure in Auckland is actually from the Depot Works (car park area) at 90 Wellesley Street, Auckland. The New Zealand Highlights tour on the 8th of March is running in the reverse direction, from Christchurch to Auckland.

Is it possible to do this as a solo traveler? If so, what would the additional cost be for that?

Accommodation will be twin-share, meaning you'll share a room with another Wild Kiwi guest of the same gender. If you'd prefer a private single room, this can be arranged for an additional $140 per room per night.

The South Island was full of adventure, with highlights like skydiving, paddleboarding, and trekking through stunning scenery.   We hold allocations on the most popular activities to ensure that you don't miss out on anything whilst on tour or need to pre-book your activities.
  
  Most activities are paid for by card directly to the provider, but it is always handy to have a little bit of cash.
