This was my …Great appreciation given to Big Ben in Wild Kiwi! All details before booking via Tour Radar have been given timely and precise. Sure easy to communicate via emails and phone calls 7/24. This was my first time to use Tour Radar and best experience! Everything is set safe in mind before my trip starts.
I had an amazing trip and met lovely friends in the same tour. Our tour guides (Ben for North Island and Claudia for South Island) are local experts with their extensive knowledge of everything kiwi (…I had an amazing trip and met lovely friends in the same tour. Our tour guides (Ben for North Island and Claudia for South Island) are local experts with their extensive knowledge of everything kiwi (culture, plants, animals...). They are super helpful with advice on what you should do, where to eat/play or how you should prepare for each day/activity...I paid for the private room which I don't regret (because I prioritize "me time" at the end of the day) but be aware that in most hostels, a private room doesn't come with a private bathroom.

Loved our South Island tour with Wild Kiwi! So many options of things to do & places to see that the week flies. He went above and beyond what was expected and genuinely enjoyed getting to know everyone in the group. His knowledge of New Zealand is unparalleled and he loved sharing it with us in creative ways (e.g. a playlist of Kiwi artists). He helped the bonding of the different groups via organising introductions and getting everyone involved in games. He was a very safe driver and also had fun with us on his nights off (when there was no driving the next day). Ben is just an all round good person to hang out with and learn all about New Zealand from!

Ben has been an incredible tour guide! He shared his true passion, joy and knowledge with the group, and ensured everybody was having an amazing time :).
Ben was the best guide out of the three I had the chance to have.
The tour was great and I had a lot of fun.
The only downside was the long drive in the south island.
Ben was knowledgable, enthusiastic, friendly and above all made my whole experience memorable.

He made everyone feel very welcomed and comfortable, albeit running a tight ship (The best way to go)... If you book anything with WildKiwi, l hope you get Ben, your trip will be worthwhile. I have never been to NZ before, and l was worried l was going to miss something if l travelled on my own. I made the best decision using WildKiwi and having Ben as my pot luck selected driver for the last two weeks of my Tour!...
A job very well done Ben 10/10.

Have had an amazing tour of NZ and Ben was a fantastic guide for the first week of my 21 days. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure every single person had a great time.

The north island was incredible, there are so many unique interesting activities to do and Robbie was very organised and got everyone where they wanted to go. The days felt full and we didn't have much downtime until the evenings, highlights were surfing, black water rafting and hobbiton. On the south island we had Big Ben and he was great too and had loads of stories about new zealands history, there was more driving in this week but the views were stunning, highlights were the franz josef heli hike and queenstown. Would recommend this tour to anyone, great group of people, sad for it to end.

The tour vans were really comfy and the small group size was great so it really easy to get to know people. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone as I think it’s a great tour for the length and locations visited.

Our guide and driver Ben (Big Ben haha) was amazing, did a great job on taking care of us, told us a lot of interesting and useful information about the places we were visiting, the best cafes and restaurants and the best activities to do on our spare time. And was a very cool and funny guy! We loved him!!
The accommodation was very good, it was very clean, tidy, spacious and new (except Mt Cook, but it is explainable cause the hotel stays in the middle of mountains).
The tour gave us the complimentary dinner at the end of a trip, which was fun and delicious pizzas (recommend salmon one;), that’s what we needed at the end!
The group was small, only 14 people, which was perfect so we could know each other well and become a family.
Thank you Wild Kiwi for the best tour in my life!!!!

The itinerary was great, the activities were plentiful and both the guides at the North and the South Island had so much to offer to the trip: advise on activities, fun facts on the road, a welcoming Kiwi atmosphere. Ben (our guide in the North) was an icon and extremely knowledgeable, but also so much fun! Siobhan (our guide in the South) was just starting as a Wild Kiwi guide, but she was fantastic: super flexible and adaptable, a real part of the group, and she organized one hell of a birthday party during our trip (pick-up by a limousine and crazy karaoke night). It was my first time joining a group tour and I now know I want to do it again ASAP. You can enjoy your holiday so much more, not having to worry about anything, because Wild Kiwi got everything covered for you. Highly, highly recommend this experience!

The South Island was full of adventure, with highlights like skydiving, paddleboarding, and tre…I recently finished the New Zealand Highlights Tour with Wild Kiwi, and it was an incredible experience. The South Island was full of adventure, with highlights like skydiving, paddleboarding, and trekking through stunning scenery. Ben, our guide, was engaging, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better with his local insights.
On the North Island, Telli took over and brought the same energy and expertise. Visiting Hobbiton was a highlight, along with jet boating and more trekking through beautiful landscapes. Both guides added so much value to the trip, making it feel seamless and enjoyable.
If you're looking for a well-organized way to explore New Zealand and experience a mix of adventure and natural beauty, I highly recommend Wild Kiwi to anyone wishing to visit the country.

Ben and Daisy were fantastic tour guides. If you like smaller groups, then this is definitely the best way to explore the south island while making friends along the way

I got to experience the Wild Kiwi for both the North & South Island tours which took place over the course of 2 weeks.

Big Ben was the guide for the North and he was incredible! Super fun, hilarious, and made sure we were all one big family the whole trip. We had quite a bit of rain in the North Island which could have halted out fun, but Ben made sure that we found pockets of joy in any activity we could get our hands on.
Tom, our South Island guide was also amazing. He was super nurturing and made all our activities both informative and fun. The best part was Tom hanging out with us and giving us opportunities to spend time with one another outside of our activities. You’re great, Tom!
The Wild Kiwi tours was the best decision I made coming to New Zealand. I got to see all the beauty that NZ has to offer without the stress of planning it all. 100% would choose Wild Kiwi again. 🤟🏽

Well organized and the drivers (Ben and Hendrick) were very friendly and profesional. They like theirs job and you can feel it!
I'm not giving 5 stars because I think that the price is very high for the type of accomodation & breakfast. Another thing that Wild Kiwi should improve is to get better prices for the activities because you pay the same amount that if you go by your own.
