    There are four of us interested in traveling in April 2027. Lookin at a trip from 12-15 days the trip we saw starts in Berlin goes to Poland, Prague and eventually ends in Venice. It stated it only allowed 18 - 35 year olds. Can you craft that same tour?

    There will only be four of us. All women and all very active 61 year olds. We are looking for the exact same itinerary as the one listed for 18-35 year olds. We do want an activity each day I believe there were some included and some optional. We are looking for 12-15 days in April 2027 either the middle two weeks or last two weeks. It can start mid week too. We are pretty flexible. We do like to have breakfast included most days and if there are any traditional events that include a dinner or a lunch but do understand most other meals are on our own. We will coordinate our flights once we work out the logistics of the trip. As far as cost I believe it was listed at $1900 ish approximately but we do understand that adding activities will increase the cost. Once you have a draft we can always add or subtract things if necessary. As far as hotel arrangements we usually do two rooms so there are only two of us in each. Easier than trying to do four ladies and one bathroom. We are open to a suite with two bathrooms if that's an option. We also tend to stay in hotels that are a bit nicer. No hostels or camping please.

    We are doing our best to align the itinerary with the budget range you provided, which is similar to the pricing shown on our website. However, we are finding this a little challenging, as the website pricing is typically based on larger group departures where the costs are shared among more travelers. With a private group of just four people, many of the fixed costs are spread across fewer participants, which naturally results in a higher per-person cost.
    
    We expect to have the proposal ready for you soon. Once you've had a chance to review it, we can certainly discuss revisions or alternative options to help bring the trip more in line with your budget while still delivering a fantastic experience.

    As requested we used our Real Central Europe itinerary, included daily breakfast, and slightly upgraded hotels to 2 and 3 stars accommodations (instead of hostels). We also added a few activities on select days. This tour is fully escorted so you will have a Local leader from beginning to the end. All pricing is USD tax inclusive. International flights to and from North America are not included. Tipping and gratuities are not included. Quote pricing is valid for 14 days from the date this proposal was sent. All services are subject to availability. Rates are applicable for travel dates within April 2027 only.
    
    The pricing displayed on our website is based on scheduled group departures, which typically operate with 12–16 travelers. Because the costs are shared among a larger number of participants, the per-person price is considerably lower. Your trip is based on a private group of four travelers, meaning those same operational costs are divided among fewer people, resulting in a higher per-person cost. We've included additional inclusions throughout the itinerary, such as activities and daily breakfasts, which add to the overall value and cost of the trip. We've also selected upgraded accommodations that align more closely with Intrepid's Original travel style rather than the Basix standard used on the group departure itinerary you referenced. This provides a higher level of comfort and overall experience but does increase the price.

  We are very interested in this itinerary and length of tour but noticed that there is an age restriction. I'm curious about why it is limited to travellers 35 and under? We are a healthy and active 70 yr old couple. Can you please explain how this tour is not appropriate for healthy adults who are over 35.

    Our 18-35's trips were created after interest from our youngest travellers who like travelling with people their own age. They told us that they were looking for trips that enabled them to travel with like-minded people of their own age (not going on the typical party bus tour). So, it's not that the tour is inappropriate for healthy adults who are over 35, it's that this is a select travel style that Intrepid created specifically for a younger demographic.
    
    The majority of our trips are open-age and you'd be welcome to join any of those!

  I'm potentially going to do a Europe trip in december/ january with a friend once we've graduated and completed high school in Australia. My friend will be 18 but I'll be 17 as my parents enrolled me in school a year early. At the time of the tour I would be about 3 months away from turning 18. Would I be allowed on, for example, an 18-35 aged tour, or would that not be possible? This is just because I'd like to meet similar people and not have to be around young children/ families.

    For our 18-35's tours I'm afraid though, that the minimum age is non-negotiable and travellers would need to be 18 at the time of travel. This is just since we do stay in hostels - especially for our Europe trips.

  i want to do this tour but noticed i'm just a couple years over the age limit. please can i ask for an exemption and do this tour. i have done similar tours like this in the past and it has not been a problem, and i am physically fit and fine to do it.
