Moshi to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park
You'll start by driving from Moshi through Machame village on your way to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park Gate. Once you arrive, the actual trekking begins as you head into the rainforest. The trail winds through lush vegetation with some sections that can get pretty muddy, so watch your footing. By the end of the day, you'll reach Machame Camp at 9,380ft where you'll set up for the night and get used to the altitude.

Reaching Stella Point at 18,600ft means you'll catch the sunrise, which is a reward for the tough climbing. After a short rest, you push on to Uhuru Peak, Kilimanjaro's highest point at 19,341ft.
