Cairo
You'll arrive at Cairo International Airport where a Uniworld representative meets you for the transfer to your luxury hotel. You can choose between the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza or the Nile Ritz-Carlton, both excellent bases for exploring the city.

- Day 2
Cairo
A local expert guide takes you through Cairo's ancient quarter to see the 12th-century citadel and the beautiful Alabaster Mosque. After that, you'll head to the Grand Egyptian Museum where thousands of years of Egyptian history are on display across the galleries.

Luxor
The day begins with a journey to the Temple of Karnak, where you'll walk among massive columns and stone sphinxes lining the broad avenues. Later this evening, you'll board your cruise ship for the Welcome Reception and Dinner.

- Day 4
Luxor
You'll visit the Temple of Luxor, which was built over centuries on the site of ancient Thebes, then move on to the Temple of Hathor dedicated to the goddess of love and beauty. Both temples show off extraordinary architecture from different periods.

Luxor
Starting with the twin Colossi of Memnon statues, you'll then visit the temple of Hatshepsut, built for one of Egypt's rare female pharaohs. After that comes the Valley of the Kings, where you can see the mummified remains of Tutankhamen on display.

- Day 6
Aswan
You'll check out the Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to a crocodile god and view mummified crocodiles from local excavations. Later, a traditional Egyptian felucca sailboat ride on the Nile follows, and by afternoon you'll have tea at the famous Old Cataract Hotel Aswan.

Esna
An Egyptologist guide leads you through the Temple of Khnum, which remained buried under debris for centuries and stands as one of the last great Egyptian temples ever constructed. You'll see the facade bearing the last known hieroglyphic inscriptions ever recorded in Egypt.

Cairo
You'll disembark in Luxor and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. After checking into your luxury hotel, you have free time to relax and walk around the city, or you can join an optional museum visit from the Masterpiece Collection.

Cairo
This day focuses on iconic monuments as you head out to see the Great Sphinx and the pyramids at Giza from up close. You'll also visit the ancient sites at Sakkara to get a full sense of their scale and historical importance.
