Is this trip suitable for seniors aged 74 and 72, ensuring it will not be too strenuous for them?

    Age Range
    • G AdventuresOperatorWritten July 2026

For this departure the My Own Room option is an additional $1369.00 CAD. Sometimes it's just more convenient and comfortable to have your own room, which is why we offer single travellers a "My Own Room" option—a single room all to yourself at a great G Adventures price.

  • D

    Dave

    Asked on September 29th, 2025

any high altitude regions involved in this tour?

    Tour Details
    • G AdventuresOperatorWritten September 2025

Yes, most places on this tour are considered a high-altitude location. However, the physical rating on this tour is a 3- which is average. Here are a few tips that can help with acclimatising: 1. Take it slow at the start – Allow yourself at least a couple of days to adjust when you first arrive at a high-altitude location. Try to avoid strenuous activity in the first 24–48 hours. 2. Stay well hydrated – Drink plenty of water, and avoid alcohol and caffeine in the first few days, as they can contribute to dehydration. 3. Eat light, high-carb meals – Your body digests more easily at altitude when meals are lighter and carb-based.

  • Visa
    • Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
