Itinerary
- Day 1
Istanbul
You'll arrive in Istanbul and get a transfer to your hotel included. The rest of the day is yours to do as you like—hang out at the hotel or take a walk around the city. Istanbul's pretty walkable and you'll find plenty of restaurants and cafes scattered throughout.

- Day 2
Istanbul
A guided tour takes you through Istanbul's Old City to see the Byzantine and Ottoman buildings. You'll head to the Blue Mosque with its intricate blue tiles, then check out the historic Hippodrome. After that comes Hagia Sophia, which dates back to the 6th century. The day wraps up at Topkapi Palace, where the Ottoman sultans lived.

- Day 3
Istanbul to Gallipoli
You'll travel to Gallipoli for a guided tour of the World War 1 battlefields. The tour covers ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Memorial and Cemetery, Chunuk Bair Memorial and Cemetery, the Nek, Johnston's Jolly, and the old trenches. Each location tells part of the history from that time.

- Day 4
Gallipoli to Kusadasi
Leaving Gallipoli, you head to Troy for a guided look at this legendary city with its nine ancient layers going back to 3000 BC. You'll see a replica of the Trojan wooden horse. Then it's on to Pergamum to walk through the steep amphitheater and visit the Asclepion medical center. Along the way there's a stop at a leather factory before finishing the day in Kusadasi on the Aegean Coast.

- Day 5
Kusadasi
You'll spend time in Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities around. Walk through the marble ruins including the Library of Celsus, the Stadium, the Vedius gymnasium, and the Great Theatre. You can also wander through ancient public toilets, a brothel, fountains, and temples. There's a visit to where the Temple of Artemis once stood, one of the Seven Ancient Wonders. A carpet manufacturing house is part of the tour too.

Kusadasi to Pamukkale
You'll head to Pamukkale to see the white calcium terraced pools known as the Cotton Castles. These natural formations happened when warm, mineral-rich water flowed down and cooled, leaving behind travertine layers. You can walk barefoot along the terraces or relax in the thermal pool where there are submerged marble columns. The day also includes time in Hierapolis, the ancient spa town with its mineral springs and communal baths.

- Day 7
Pamukkale to Cappadocia
You'll travel to Cappadocia in central Turkey. There are stops along the way, so you'll have time to stretch and get something to eat before continuing on.

- Day 8
Cappadocia
This day is all about Cappadocia's unique landscapes and history. You'll see the fairy chimneys, which are tall cone-shaped rock formations that were carved into dwellings and churches during the Byzantine era. The Goreme Open-Air Museum shows rock-cut churches with Byzantine frescoes. You can also check out underground cities like Derinkuyu that were used as refuge spaces. The whole region has unusual geology and a lot of local culture to take in.

Cappadocia to Istanbul
You'll start the journey back to Istanbul from Cappadocia, stopping for lunch along the way (you'll pay for that meal yourself). You should arrive in Istanbul in the evening. If you'd rather, you can fly directly from Cappadocia to Istanbul instead of the overland drive.

Istanbul
After breakfast, your tour ends. You'll get an included transfer to Istanbul International Airport, with departures at 9am or 1pm depending on your flight time.
