Itinerary
- Day 1
Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park
Your pickup happens early from the hotel around 4:00 or 5:00 a.m., then you'll fly to Nyerere National Park. After checking in, there's a morning game drive where you might see elephants, buffalo, hippos, lions, and leopards. Lunch comes at 12:30 p.m., and game driving continues until 3:00 p.m. You'll have time to rest and freshen up back at the lodge before dinner at 7:00 p.m. Then from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m., there's a 3-hour night game drive to spot nocturnal wildlife.

- Day 2
Nyerere National Park to Zanzibar
Start early with coffee or tea, then head out on a 2-hour morning boat safari on the river at sunrise. You'll see hippos, crocodiles, and lots of birds during this time. Back at the lodge, you'll have a full breakfast. After breakfast, a village tour with your guide takes you through local culture, including visits to primary schools where you can spend time with students. Lunch happens back at the lodge, then you'll depart at 4:00 p.m. for your flight to Zanzibar. Once you arrive, a driver transfers you to your hotel on the island.
