Itinerary
- Day 1
Windhoek
You'll arrive in Windhoek at 2 PM for a tour briefing and meet the group. After that, you'll walk around the city checking out local attractions before heading to Joe's Beerhouse for dinner where you can try local food and hospitality. The night is spent at Hotel Safari.

Namib Desert Reserve
Starting from Windhoek, you'll head into the Namib Desert and reach a remote camp in the Namib Rand Nature Reserve by late afternoon. Next morning, an ecology walk teaches you about desert animals and plants adapted to this environment. During the hottest part of the day you'll relax at camp, then in mid-afternoon you'll go on a desert drive across the dunes. A traditional sundowner drink happens at sunset, and after that a nocturnal drive lets you look for desert wildlife.

- Day 4
Sossusvlei Dunes
This morning starts early for exploring Sossusvlei and Deadvlei near Sesriem. You'll take a 4x4 into the dunes for climbing and walking around, then visit Deadvlei where you'll see the white clay pan with its dead camel thorn trees. On the way back you'll stop at Sesriem Canyon before returning to camp.

- Days 5 - 6
Swakopmund
You'll drive through Kuiseb Canyon and the Namib-Naukluft National Park heading toward the coast, arriving in Walvis Bay and then Swakopmund. This German-influenced town becomes your base for two nights. From there you can explore at your own pace, taking advantage of local restaurants, shops, adventure activities, and cultural sites around town.

- Day 7
Spitzkoppe
Heading north along the Skeleton Coast, you'll see shipwreck remains scattered across the landscape. At Cape Cross you can see over 100,000 Cape fur seals during breeding season. After that you'll drive inland through the desert to Spitzkoppe, where dramatic granite peaks rise 1,728 meters above the ground. You'll reach the lodge by early afternoon.

- Day 8
Brandberg
After a relaxed morning at Spitzkoppe, you'll climb the granite boulders. Then it's into the desert toward Brandberg Mountain, Namibia's highest peak. Along the way you'll meet local Himba people and get to know their culture. A guided hike takes you to see the White Lady bushmen paintings. If you're interested, an optional game drive might let you spot rare desert elephants before settling in at the lodge for the night.

Etosha National Park
You'll travel through Damaraland, the home region of the Damara people, stopping for lunch along the way before reaching your lodge. Over the next two days you'll spend time on extensive game drives in the Drifters truck through Etosha National Park. You'll visit different waterholes and watch animals in their natural setting. One day includes about 2 hours at the Okekeujo waterhole where you wait and watch animals come to drink. An optional sunset game drive is available on private land bordering the park.

Windhoek
An early start marks your journey back toward Windhoek, with the drive taking most of the day. You'll arrive back in the capital by late afternoon, and the tour officially concludes at that time.
