I completely understand your point about traveling solo. Once the group departure didn’t materialise, I chose to keep the trip running privately rather than cancel it, so you could still travel on your planned dates. I know that’s not the same as the group experience you originally booked, but my intention was to make sure the trip could still go ahead smoothly. I’m also sorry to hear about your experience in Baños. We’ve worked with that hotel for a long time and had not received this kind of feedback before, but I will absolutely raise it with them and review it internally as well.     Can we get a specific hummingbird tour?

      Yes, we can absolutely arrange a birdwatching tour, not only focused on hummingbirds but also on many other bird species.

      Option 1:
      We keep the current program "8 Days in Ecuador's Heartland: From Mountains to Hot Springs", and only modify Day 3, changing it to a full-day tour in Mindo, where you will be able to visit the hummingbird garden and enjoy birdwatching.
      The rest of the itinerary would remain exactly the same.

      Option 2:
      Choose a Birdwatching and Photography Package. We currently offer:
      3 Days / 2 Nights Package
      5 Days / 4 Nights Package
      7 Days / 6 Nights Package – Full Week Birding (this is the option I highly recommend)

      All Birdwatching and Photography Packages include visits to see hummingbirds, along with many other bird species.

      Yes, it's possible to join the later half of the tour starting from Day 4. The price will not change but keep in mind that specific activities will be arranged privately and others will be joining a group. In the case of accommodation, if another female confirms this departure on the same dates, you can share the room, otherwise, the room will be just for you, and the price will not change.

      The safety warnings that are currently in effect for our destinations are NOT visitable in your itinerary. USA Travel Advisory mentions the Coastal Pacific Zone, and the borderline with Peru, as your trip includes Quito and the Andes, these are 'green zones' safe tourist areas.
