Itinerary
- Day 1
Rio de Janeiro
Your English-speaking guide and driver meet you at Rio de Janeiro International Airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to do what you like, whether that's resting up or heading out to check out some beaches. Copacabana and Ipanema are right there if you want to get a feel for the city.

- Day 2
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide picks you up for a full day hitting Rio's iconic spots. You'll head to Corcovado Mountain to see the Christ the Redeemer statue and take in the views over the city from up there. Later in the afternoon, a cable car ride takes you to Sugarloaf Mountain where you can look out over the city and Guanabara Bay. From there you'll walk through the old part of Rio and check out the Cultural Corridor before heading back to your hotel.

- Day 3
Rio de Janeiro to Iguazu
Following breakfast, you'll visit Maracanã Stadium, built for the 1950 World Cup. Next comes Rio de Janeiro Cathedral, which has a striking pyramid shape and was finished in 1976. After that, you head to the airport for a flight to Iguazu and then on to your hotel there.

- Day 4
Iguazu
You'll spend the morning exploring Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side, where this horseshoe-shaped waterfall spans about 4 km wide and drops 82 meters. The afternoon takes you to Iguazu Bird Park, the largest bird park in South America. There you'll see parrots, toucans, and various other tropical birds up close.

- Day 5
Iguazu to South Pantanal
After breakfast, you transfer to Iguazu International Airport for a flight to Campo Grande. A local guide and driver meet you there and drive about 3.5 hours to Refúgio da Ilha Eco Lodge in South Pantanal. Your guide takes you out to explore the Pantanal wetlands. Dinner comes with your stay, and you'll also do an evening discovery tour to get a sense of nightlife in the Pantanal before spending the night at the lodge.

- Day 6
South Pantanal
You'll get up early for breakfast, then start a guided tour on horseback, riding like a cowboy to explore the Pantanal and look for wild animals. Bring insect repellent as mosquitoes can be thick during certain times. After lunch, you go on a safari drive and do other evening activities before sleeping at the eco lodge again.

- Day 7
South Pantanal
The farm serves up a traditional Brazilian breakfast to start your day. From there it's a full day of activities exploring the wetland and seeing the animals that live in the Pantanal ecosystem. All meals are included so you can focus on what you're seeing and doing.

South Pantanal to Manaus
After breakfast, you head to Campo Grande Airport for a flight to Manaus. Your guide and driver pick you up there and take you to your hotel. Manaus sits on the Amazon River and was once incredibly wealthy from the rubber trade, though you can still see that history in places like the Amazon Theatre. You'll check in and relax at your hotel.

- Day 9
Manaus to Amazon Lodge
Your guide and driver take you to the lodge out in the Amazon. When you arrive, you get welcome drinks. In the afternoon, you'll take a motorboat out on the Amazon River to explore. The lodge provides all meals, and after dinner your guide takes you on a night tour where you can see fascinating animals in their natural habitat.

Amazon
This morning you walk through the original rainforest to check out rare plants and animals. Your guide explains what you're seeing, talking through the science behind the insects, plants, and creatures. Back at the lodge you have the afternoon to rest up. Later your guide takes you to swim and kayak in a safe designated area.

Amazon to Manaus
You'll wake up early to watch the sunrise, then head out to visit a local jungle tribe. These residents keep their traditional ways and live contentedly on this land. Your guide helps you learn about how they eat, their culture, and how they live. Then you drive back to Manaus, which takes roughly 2.5 to 3 hours, and check into your hotel.

Manaus
Your Brazil Amazon tour ends today. Breakfast is served at your hotel, and then based on what time your flight leaves, your driver takes you to Manaus Airport and sees you off.
