Arrival

This morning you'll head out on a guided tour through historic Hanoi, visiting Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum and cottage, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Presidential Palace. You'll also see the Temple of Literature before grabbing lunch at a non-profit restaurant. Later, an electric-cart ride takes you through the Old Quarter's 36 ancient streets, and then you'll catch a traditional water puppet performance after dinner.

Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh Long (Cruise)
Transfer to the Saigon River port and board your suite ship for the afternoon. Get acquainted with the vessel and attend the welcome reception this evening as you begin cruising toward Vinh Long.

Vinh Long
Early in the morning you'll board a sampan to visit a local workshop in Vinh Long, seeing how rice paper, rice wine, and traditional candies are made. Later, travel to Cu Lao Gieng Island by sampan and motor cart, visiting a boat-crafting workshop and a family home where traditional conical hats called Non la are made, plus one of Vietnam's oldest Catholic churches. The ship continues toward Chau Doc through the evening.
