Itinerary
- Day 1
Valverde
You'll land in Valverde on El Hierro and get transferred to your hotel. This first evening gives you time to settle in and get oriented to the island after your journey.



- Day 2
Valverde Plateau Walk
Walk a loop route from Valverde that takes you through volcanic terrain and pastoral countryside across the plateau. You'll come across an old abandoned village and see the sacred Árbol Santo tree during this varied walk.

Mocanal to La Frontera
Starting near Mocanal, head up to the Mirador and Ermita de la Peña where the escarpment meets the crest, then continue climbing to 1200m at Jinama's mirador. From there, you'll descend a dramatic path down the escarpment face toward La Frontera.

Sabinosa and La Dehesa Plateau
Get transferred to Sabinosa, then climb up to reach La Dehesa plateau with open views toward the Atlantic. The walk includes Mirador dos Bascos, the unusual windswept trees at El Sabinar, and the historically significant Ermita de la Virgen before you head back down to Sabinosa.

La Frontera to El Pinar
From La Frontera, you'll be taken to a trailhead midway up the escarpment. The route follows the crest over Malpaso, the island's highest point, and offers great views as you move through volcanic ash, then native pine forest, and finally pastoral areas reaching El Pinar.

Walk ancient paths from El Pinar south to La Restinga on the coast. You've got flexibility here - return the way you came, take a taxi to Tacoron for a swim first then walk back, or catch the bus for part of the return journey.

Starting through quiet rural landscapes, you'll reach the eastern escarpment crest with striking coastal views. Then comes the highlight, descending over 1000m on a beautiful path through Isora village down to your hotel at Las Playas. End the day with a swim or relaxing on the beach.
