Cancellation: Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled. In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied: More than 40 days before your arrival, 6% of the deposit paid will be charged as a bank transaction fee. Between 40 and 30 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged. Between 29 and 15 days before your arrival date 50% of the entire tour price will be charged. Between 14 and 7 days before your arrival date 75% of the entire tour price will be charged. Between 7 and 1 days before your arrival date 100% of the entire tour price will be charged. Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline's cancellation policy.

Yes, it is possible to add two days in Hurghada. The cost will be $400 per person, including all-inclusive accommodation, as well as transfers from Luxor to Hurghada and from Hurghada to Cairo.

Could you please provide us with the name of the ship for the upcoming tour?

At this stage, it is still too early to confirm the exact Nile cruise ship, as final allocation depends on the sailing schedule and availability closer to the travel date. That said, we work with several well-established cruise ships such as Royal Signature Nile Cruise, Palace Nile Cruise, Nile Shams, or another cruise of similar standard and category. The confirmed ship details will be shared as soon as the sailing week is finalized.

At the moment, we do not offer shared accommodation with other solo travelers. For guests traveling alone, the accommodation is arranged in a private single room, and a single supplement applies.

Regarding changing travel dates: If the change is made 40 days or more before the departure date, there is no problem and no fees. However, if the date change is requested within 40 days before departure, amendment fees may apply. For tipping, we recommend USD 7 per person on days that include guided tours. This is optional and entirely up to the travellers.

Initially the communication with our contact was very poor. We arrived at our hotel at 1am and had no idea what time we were being picked up in the morning. We got a massage at 2am to say we were being picked up at 4am for the desert trip. We were given very little information for the desert trip. The drivers who took us spoke and understood very little English, we weren’t told that there would not be any bathroom facilities. After the evening meal we weren’t offered tea or coffee and there wasn’t a campfire as suggested in holiday itinerary. The drivers said we had to be up by 7am which we all were however the drivers were fast asleep and only woke up after 8am due to us rousing them. As a result we didn’t get any breakfast or any lunch. Day three and still no communication, luckily fellow travellers told us of the pick up time for the airport to travel to Aswan. That morning no breakfast and when we landed in Aswan there wasn’t a stop for lunch despite telling our guide we hadn’t had anything to eat. Communication improved in the last 4days. We travelled with Tour radar to Costa Rica and did not have any issues at all and so decided to go with you again but have been very disappointed. No where near the same standard.Show more

We arrived a day early so that we could have a day to rest after a grueling flight. After finally getting to our hotel at midnight, we were awakened early the next morning saying our guide was there to take us to the pyramids! So much for our rest day! Also, the hotel room was terrible, so tiny and no place to even sit, but after I sent pictures to our contact guy, he moved us into a better hotel the next night. Lastly, our white sands guide didn't speak a word of English, so we couldn't ask any questions, he gave away the sand board to another group, and I was looking forward to trying it! Also, he wouldn't wake up the next morning, and finally at 7.30, I banged on a teapot to wake him up. We had all froze our butts off all night, those sleeping bags were not warm enough, and we didn't get any extra blankets. We all just wanted to get back to Cairo after the tour, so no breakfast, there wasn't time because our guide wouldn't wake up. I don't know his name,, but he was really terrible! Other than those complaints, the rest of the trip was good.Show more

We had to reach out to the company daily to see what was happening next as the itinerary was different than what was sent prior to the trip. An example: we knew we were taking a flight to Cairo that day and another flight to Jordan the next day, however, at 12 noon we still had not received any flight information. The booking stated we would have an English speaking Guide for the full trip. That was not true. When we were in Jordan we had a guide for only 2 of the sites visited. The rest of the time we had an English speaking driver who would drop us off at the locations and pick us up when we were finished. When we went to the White Desert we also did not have a Guide. We had a gentleman who was very nice and drove us around, but he did not explain anything about the area to us. As you have to constantly try to get information, having a working phone is critical. Do not rely on waiting until you can get WiFi at locations.Show more

Communication was poor. Events didn't happen. One extremely bad guide. Plans changed without being informed. Hot Air Ballon Flight just stays above the launch site, does not go across the landmarks. Five star Nile Cruise is not Five star standard, do not expect the likes of Viking Cruises. Be aware that if you take the Abu Semple add on you will travel for 4 hours, have 45mins at the site and travel 4 hours back. Long days with long gaps between meals e.g. packed breakfast at 4.00am and then lunch not until 3.00pm - 4.00pm. Jordan section of the tour worked well once we had the plans confirmed to what we had booked. Our driver Aboood in Jordan was excellent. Too many other issues to raise here. Seeing the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum was incredible, and the overnight camping in the White Desert was something I will never forget. The Nile cruise was also a lovely and relaxing way to see so much history. Our guide Peter was exceptional—very kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything in such an engaging way that made the history come alive for us. I would highly recommend this tour company to anyone planning a trip to Egypt. We 15 friends had a memorable Uganda safari with Four Crane safaris guides, the highlights for our 7 days were gorillas and Chimpanzees, first day we arrived at Entebbe airport and the guides were waiting for us with customized safari landcruisers. They briefed us on the distance we are going to drive to Hotel in Entebbe, this is where our smile started, we were booked in a good luxurious Hotels. Next morning we drove into Kibale forest national park, we did cultural experience in the evening, enjoyed dancing and participated in it too, it was an amazing Adventure we have never had. We did Chimpanzee trekking next morning then proceeded to Queen Elizabeth national park where we did game drives and boat cruise, finally we reached to Bwindi on our day 5 where we did gorilla trekking on day 6, gorillas were so amazing they are human like. We are interested in the Egypt and Jordan Charms tour, November 2026. Can you clarify some points for us please. -From experience, from which countries is your main clientele for this tour ? -Will it be the same guide throughout Egypt or is there a guide for each section of the Egypt tour? -Does the group remain the same throughout each country? -Does your company have privileged access to some archaeological to avoid the crowds.

One of two people has a gluten intolerance. Based on experience, it is very difficult to buy something glutenfree in Egypt to eat independently while on the road. Is there a possibility to book a tour that includes three organized gluten-free meals and three regular meals every day (for an additional charge)?

  Regarding the gluten intolerance, we completely understand your concern. Unfortunately, we cannot promise to provide three fully gluten-free meals per day with 100% certainty throughout the tour. While we can inform restaurants, hotels, and other partners about the gluten intolerance and request gluten-free options, there is always a risk of cross-contamination or misunderstandings. For this reason, we do not want to make a commitment that we may not be able to fully keep.

  Regarding meals: during the Cairo tours, lunch is included at local restaurants outside the hotels. You can absolutely inform your tour guide about your dietary preferences, and this is something we can accommodate. While we cannot guarantee 100% gluten-free meals, it is usually quite manageable to arrange alternatives such as rice, potatoes, meat, eggs, and vegetables instead of pasta or bread. For the Nile cruise (Naya Cruise section), meals are served as an open buffet, so unfortunately we do not have direct control over the exact menu. However, there is typically a wide variety of options available, and based on experience, guests with similar dietary preferences are usually able to find suitable choices and make it work comfortably.

However, if the date change is requested within 40 days before departure, amendment fees may apply. For tipping, we recommend USD 7 per person on days that include guided tours. Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 14th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 14th, 2026, a minimum payment of 40% is required to confirm your booking with Golden Egypt. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
