Lyon
Start in Lyon by heading up Fourvière Hill to see the 19th-century basilica, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From there, wander through the old town and St. Jean district where you'll find traboules, the city's covered walkways. You can choose between a guided bike tour through cyclist-friendly streets, a Les Halles Market tasting tour to try local foods, or a Beaujolais wine tasting. In the evening, an Illuminations cruise takes you into Lyon so you see the city lit up from the water.

Take a guided tour of Mâcon, known as the 'South Burgundy City,' where you'll learn about local vineyards, museums, historical sites, and the poet Alphonse de Lamartine. Later in the day, you either cruise to Tournus or take a guided bike tour from Mâcon to Tournus if you prefer being more active.

After that, you'll sail to Seurre or take the option to visit Clos de Vougeot, the famous walled vineyard, and try regional wines.

Dijon
Spend the day in Dijon, famous as the 'Birthplace of Mustard' and home to the four Dukes of Burgundy from 1364 to 1477. On a guided tour, you'll walk through the medieval center with its art and cultural heritage in the museums. Another option is biking along the Saône River to see sites like the lock controlling river access to the Rhone-Rhine Canal, or visiting Château d'Arcelot with its medieval, neoclassical, and Chinese pavilion elements.
