Lima to Cusco - Sacred Valley
You'll catch an early morning flight from Lima to Cusco, arriving with time to explore the Sacred Valley's key sites. Start at either Pisac Ruins or the local market (both offer different perspectives on Inca culture), then head to Ollantaytambo Fortress to walk through its impressive terraces and stone structures. After a traditional Andean lunch, you'll board a scenic train that winds through the cloud forest toward Aguas Calientes. The ride takes a few hours and gives you great views of the valley before you settle into your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Get up early because you're heading to Machu Picchu to catch the sunrise, which is worth the wake-up call. A guide will walk you through the ruins for about 2.5 to 3 hours, showing you sacred temples, royal palaces, and the terraces with Andean peaks in the background. Afterward, you'll take the train back to Ollantaytambo (roughly 1.5 hours), then drive to your Cusco hotel (another 2 hours). It's a long day of travel but you'll see one of the world's most significant Inca sites.

Cusco - Lima
This morning includes a combined tour of three important sites around Cusco: Koricancha (the Temple of the Sun with its intricate stonework), Sacsayhuaman (massive fortress ruins on the hillside), and Kenko (ceremonial site with interesting carved rocks). After exploring these locations, you'll transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight back to Lima, wrapping up your Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu experience.
