We had a wonderful time on the Founding Fathers tour with Nina! She is a true gem, so informative, positive, and fun to be around! If you can request her you definitely should! We learned so much about Ben Franklin and other historical figures. She took us inside the Curtis building to show us an amazing piece of artwork. She even recounted some of her own childhood memories regarding the liberty bell which really personalized the tour. I had questions of where to dine and shop since this was my first time to Philly and she went out of her way to send me some recommendations. All this to say, do yourself a favor and take this tour!!Show more

I came away feeling like I had a better understanding of the role Valley Forge played in American history. My family of 6 recently went on the WeVenture tour of Lancaster County (The Amish Tour). Our guide Adam was so knowledgeable and was so much fun, we had an exceptional day. We visited the Amish Village, and several Amish stores such as the Log Cabin Quilting and Bird in the Hand Bake Shop to learn more about the Amish way of life (and shoefly Pie). We had a lovely sampling of traditional Amish/Mennonite foods at the Bird-in-the-Hand Family Restaurant for lunch. We particularly enjoyed a buggy ride on an authentic Amish/Mennonite buggy. Sharing the road with huge semi-trailers on a horse-drawn buggy was an experience! Adam and the team really made our day fabulous and gave us such a great insight into the Amish people and the history of the great state of Pennsylvania. Show more

I had a blast! This Friday I went on a trip to Amish country in Lancaster county outside of Philly and it was an amazing tour. From beautiful intricately hand quilted quilts, gorgeous scenery and loads of information from our very knowledgeable tour guide Tom. The trip started by going around a typical Amish house and school house showing their very minimalist way of life we went to a Smorgasbord which is apparently an amazing Amish buffet which made me burst at the seam. We went to a wood working and quilt shop along with a bunch of cool old towns. I was truly impressed! Show more
