Axis in Jordan was much better organised. Optional activities need to be chosen and organised prior to the day, much time wasted purchasing daily entrances. The logistics aspect (planes, pickup times. hotels) were generally good, but unexpected changes to the itinerary kept us guessing. We were told what the next day's agenda would be the previous night. Bring at least $75 in $1 bills (USD) because you’ll be tipping every few minutes for everything, including all bathrooms. Also, non stop beggars every step outside temples! Asked on September 29th, 2025I am interested in Egypt to Petra tour for 14 days. I would like to know with an optional excursions, do I have to book it now or can I decide when I get there and add on with a tour leader later? And how many members exactly on the group?

Regarding the optional excursions, you don't need to book them right now. You can absolutely decide once you're here in Egypt. The only condition is that bookings should be made at least one day before the optional excursion takes place, so your tour leader will be able to help you add them on smoothly during the trip. As for the group size, it depends on your exact arrival date. In general, our groups are kept small and intimate, and the number of participants does not exceed 10 people.

The hotel in Cairo will be Peace Inn Hotel. Yes, you can book your return flight at 5:00 PM. You may pay using different cards. Once your booking is confirmed, you will have the option to change the card and complete the payment with another one.

The apartment-style hotel is called Saray Pyramids and Museum View Hotel. It's clean, comfortable, and well-located, offering views of both the Pyramids and the nearby museum. Regarding the hot springs - yes, you can absolutely get in! The temperature is warm and soothing, but not too hot to enjoy. During your stay in the White Desert, you'll sleep in a closed tent on a cot with a sleeping bag provided. The tents are well-secured, and there are no significant issues with crawling things in the camping area. Wadi Rum is not included in the itinerary by default when visiting Petra. However, if you're interested in adding it, we can absolutely arrange it for you at an additional cost.

Wadi Rum costs $120 USD per person, which includes a guided tour, overnight stay at a Bedouin-style camp, and traditional dinner. For the Nubian Village, you'll enjoy a scenic felucca ride on the Nile, explore homes, and meet locals. A felucca ride in Luxor costs $20 USD per person. Guides will not be the same in Egypt and Jordan. Tipping is optional and at your discretion. For entrance tickets, we can pre-pay $200 USD per person, which we can add as a supplement to your TourRadar booking.

Tipping is not mandatory and completely optional. Optional experiences: Abu Simbel temple visit is $130 USD, Sunrise hot air balloon ride in Luxor is $100 USD. Nile cruise is le fayen. Accommodation in Cairo: Saraya Pyramids View Hotel. If you want to upgrade to a five-star hotel, it will be the Sonesta Hotel Cairo and the cost is $100 per person per night. Olive hotel Amman. If you want to upgrade to a five-star hotel, it will be the Landmark and the cost is $85 per person per night. The Abu Simbel tour lasts 10 hours and will be in your own private car. The group size is 10 people. This means that the group will not be more than 10 people.
