What are the hotel names included in the pricing for the Hawaii tour?

We have three room category options for this tour: • Moderate - City View. Guests are generally unable to see the ocean at all. Views can be the mountains, gardens, cityscapes, etc. • First Class - Partial Ocean View. Guests will have a partial (around 50%) view of the ocean from the balcony or terrace and within some areas of the room though this view may be partially obstructed by landscaping or resort structures. • Premium - Ocean View (not Ocean Front or Beach Front). When the guest looks out of their main window, they generally have an 80% or greater view of the ocean. Also, this tour ends in Kahului (Maui), not in Kaanapali.

I have never been on a group travel so not sure how it really works. I like the all inclusive though. Do we have to stay with the group at all times? Just wondering because we have a 6 year old. Do we have time to explore on our own as well? Does the price include admission to the sites such as Pearl Harbor?

On the Trafalgar Hawaiian Explorer tour, your Travel Director organizes the group activities but also provides free time at selected places so you can explore on your own. You won't be required to stay with the group at all times, which is helpful when traveling with your 6‑year‑old. The package includes 7 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 3 dinners, so most meals are covered, but you'll also have opportunities to enjoy local restaurants during your free time. Admissions to key sites, such as Pearl Harbor, are included in the price, so you don't need to worry about arranging those separately.

We were told by Tour Radar that we could not plan “individual outings” before our trip. “Wait until you get there and your tour guide will help you”. At least that was my interpretation. So by the time we got to Hawaii a couple of the events we wanted to participate in were already booked. I was quite disappointed. Our plane was 3 hours late arriving so we never really met fellow travelers. It was the first tour I have been on where I did not know most of the participants. Our Director was awesome but overall this was an OK vacation. Service was great, Mother Nature provided lots of whales but so many things went wrong it will not go down as a memorable experience.Show more
