Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Antananarivo
You'll arrive at Ivato International Airport where a private car will take you to your hotel. Check in and settle in for the night before your Madagascar adventure begins.
- Day 2
Antananarivo to Antsirabe
Head south on route 7 toward Antsirabe. There's an optional stop at Ambatolampy to see aluminum pot casting in action. Once you get to Antsirabe, you'll explore the surrounding workshops where local artisans work with semi-precious and precious stones.

- Day 3
Antsirabe to Miandrivazo
After breakfast, drive about 220 km west to Miandrivazo, where your boat journey on the Tsiribihina River begins. Your guide will arrange stops so you can take in the scenery and meet locals living along the riverbanks.

Waterfall Excursion
Travel to Masekapy and board a boat heading toward a waterfall. Watch the river banks for wildlife like birds, chameleons, sifakas, and brown lemurs. This part of the trip gives you a real chance to see Madagascar's unique animals in their natural setting.

Tsiribihina River to Belo Tsiribihina
Continue down the river by barge and stop at traditional villages including Berevo. You'll learn about how locals live and work there. Later, disembark at Belo Sur Tsiribihina and drive to Belo Tsiribihina, the cultural center for the Sakalava people.

Bemaraha National Park Exploration
Spend the day exploring Petit Tsingy and Grand Tsingy inside this UNESCO World Heritage Site covering 1,575 km². Hike through tight passages, climb limestone formations using harnesses, cross suspended bridges, and check out the cathedral area where lemurs, giant rats, giant couas, and Madagascar green pigeons show up.

Morondava to Antananarivo
Make your way to the airport for a flight back to Tana. Someone will meet you at arrival and transfer you to your hotel, leaving you ready for your final day in the country.

Explore Antananarivo's colorful streets, historic palaces, and the impressive cathedral. Wander through the Digue market where you'll find crafts, stones, raffia items, and local goods. Then head to the airport for your flight home.
