Itinerary
- Day 1
Porto to Douro Valley
You'll leave Porto at 9:00 AM and drive toward the Douro Valley. The first stop is Amarante, where you can walk around and see the charming bridges that cross over the Tâmega river. From there, continue deeper into the UNESCO-listed Douro Valley region. Once you reach Pinhão, you'll get on a traditional Rabelo boat and spend time on the river, which is something you don't want to skip. Later, head to a local winery for Port and Douro wine tastings and try some regional food pairings. The evening winds down with a walk along the riverbank, followed by dinner at a traditional restaurant in the area.

Douro Valley to Lamego to Porto
After breakfast, you'll have a guided tour through Quinta da Pacheca winery with wine tastings included. Then travel to Lamego and visit the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, which features an impressive baroque stairway with 686 steps. Take time to walk through Lamego's historical center and check out the tree-lined avenues, shops, and cafes scattered around. You'll have free time during lunch to try regional specialties at your own pace. By late afternoon, you'll head back to Porto where this part of the tour concludes.
