Luciana Furio Menks was my contact in Peru and she was fantastic! I was a day late arriving due to a storm in Atlanta and she moved my tours around and met me at the airport to be sure I could still take part in all the tours. Machu Picchu & Rainbow Mountain & Humantay Lake were all extremely well prepared and enjoyable. Different vans picked me up each day and all were professional and helpful Machu Picchu was magnificent and taking the van meant I didn't have to worry about getting my tickets and figuring out when and where to catch the shuttle bus in my second language. Rainbow Mountain is high, cold and hard (as expected). I loved it even though we had snow and mud that day. The guides were so helpful and provided each of us with a walking stick. I used all my rain gear that day-be sure to bring yours. There are locals in Peruvian dress with horses along the trail that you can ride part of the way up if needed. I did walk the whole way but it was a lot of steps. Humanity hike is shorter and also offers a horseback option. The lake at the top is just gorgeous-well worth the trip. I would definitely recommend this trip!Show more

- For any tour departing before June 16th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with PVTravels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
