Transportation for the tours is provided in a comfortable van. During the journey, you will make several stops to visit different tourist attractions. Two segments between Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes are traveled by train.

You must fly to Cusco, and at the end of the tour, there is a flight from Juliaca to Lima that needs to be booked on your own. Shuttles to the airports within the itinerary are included.

I'm interested in your "Southern Treasures - 8 Days. . . Travelers can expect some light physical activities." My wife and I are seniors in moderately good physical condition. However, my wife has joint pain if she walks over 1 mile or so. Can flexible is the walking part of the tour to accommodate her? Also, would you be able to make arrangements for us to be picked up from the airport?

This is a comfortable and relaxed itinerary for your trip, and no physical effort is required. We will be there to pick you up upon your arrival in Cusco.

Which circuit at Machu Picchu is included? If it's Machu Picchu Circuit 1 - can we complete the ticket with the citadel by paying an additional fee in cash?

Unfortunately, all permits (Circuit 2 and 3 for visiting Machu Picchu) are sold out for your travel date. The only ticket available is the Circuit 1 (access to the higher part of the Citadel to get the classic photos, have a guided tour around here and after that return to Aguas Calientes).

Of course, all four of you can join the tour. These are cultural tours suitable for all ages and fitness levels. For your travel date, we currently have availability only for Circuit 1 at Machu Picchu. This option offers a panoramic experience, allowing you to enjoy the classic views of the citadel from the upper terraces.

Could you please advise what Machu Picchu circuit we would have access to if we confirm the tour?

For the date you mentioned, we only have tickets available for Machu Picchu with Circuit 3 (this ticket only visits the lower part of Machu Picchu).

We are traveling to Lima and are looking for a tour on December 14 or 15.

We would need to take a domestic flight from Lima to Cusco. Just wondering how big your tours are? We prefer a private tour, but could live with a tour size of no more than 10. We have not been to Peru before and love history and are active.

We have small groups of 8 to 10 people maximum. If no other travellers join us on the date of your trip, we will only go out with you. On the Route of the Sun and Puno tour, there will be a group of approximately 30 to 40 people. These tours are quite expensive, which is why we travel in a large group.

We were met at the airport and train stations as soon as we arrived, and our transportation was clean and comfortable. By far the best part of our trip, however, was Julio, our guide. We had him for the first three days of our trip, and he went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best time possible. We truly appreciated everything he did for us! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone that want to see some of the highlights of Peru. It was excellent!!Show more

1.Papa Freddy: our tour guide for 3 days for perfect. His English was good and he showed the best places. Was punctual and arranged meals at decent restaurants. 2.I took off two stars from the remaining journey: a) Puno: Guide was Manuel. Poorly managed. Why did we waste a whole day at lake Titicaca? We could have done so much more! Maybe visited Silustani or a made a half day trip to Tihuanaco. How many floating islands does one need to see? You see one and you've seen them all. Why did we watch wool washing with Chujo a 2nd time in Taquile? We should not have spent more than 1.5 hours on Titicaca. I was going up on the upper level on the boat and Manuel said: "you can't go up". I thought he meant it was unsafe of something. Actually, he just wanted to lecture everyone on useless local stories. b) 99% of the passengers were Spanish speakers. That is half the time wasted in repetition. Next time, I would take an English-only tour. c) How many wool shops does one need to visit? d) Except the time with Papa Freddy, every day, I was with a different group of people. I think Inkayni is not a tour operator, but a tour middle man. They are agents that sub-contract the work to others. I would prefer to have the same reliable faces every day, instead of a new tour guide and new travelers every day. e) City Tour (optional): We hardly spent 10-20 minutes at Saqsayhuaman. half of which was self exploration. Why pay in USD to waste time visiting 5 useless places in Cusco and no time at the most important place in Cusco? I would have been better off going to Saqsayhuman myself and hiring a local guide on the spot. f) Every day (except days with Freddy) a new driver showed up at the lobby to pick me up. The travellers weren't even all staying at the same hotels. They didn't say they would communicate plan changes opn email. I had no email access in Peru. After I left Peru, I checked my email, to find revisions having been emailed. g) I asked thrice, but no itinerary was communicated about Puno, even one day and not even the morning of the full day useless Puno visit.Show more

Get used to getting up very early most days but it's more than worth it. The Peru tour company Inkyani Tours did all the work and were exceptional....the customer service was beyond normality; not only did they anticipate every customer need but exceeded them .... for example, proactively dealing with our itinerary when we had an unexpected family bereavement. Everyone who looked after us were not after tips; they just wanted to please. On the other hand, we were taken to perhaps a few too many money making activities where we were encouraged to buy things. Tour Radar has been quick to promote further tours now ours is over but hasn't offered any customer loyalty price, which is surprising. The bottom line is that if you want to pay a lot more than organising the tour yourself and having no stress, then this is for you. If you are worried about money, you can organise most of the activities, transport and hotels much cheaper than paying Tor Radar, but you might well miss out on hard to buy entry tickets and activities that aren't well known. Overall, I am very impressed. Well done Inkyani Tours of Lima, Peru. Tour Radar, please consider rewarding your loyal customer base when promoting new tours to them. Thanks very much everyone.   The circuit is 1B. Considering the ages of the travelers, it is not advisable to climb Machu Picchu Mountain 1A. The most advisable option is to take circuit 1B.

  circuit 1-A (Machu Picchu Mountain) but it is a more expensive ticket. You must pay 40 USD extra per ticket if you want to have them. Also the guided tour to the top of this mountain is not included because it will take 2 hours approx which is considered extra. We only include the tour guide on the upper terraces of Machu Picchu but if you want the tour guide the whole trail, you must add 60 USD for the whole group.

We would need to take a domestic flight from Lima to Cusco. Just wondering how big your tours are? We prefer a private tour, but could live with a tour size of no more than 10. We have not been to Peru before and love history and are active.

- For any tour departing before October 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Inkayni Peru Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Inkayni Peru Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
