I like to know how is the logistic from day to day trip regarding transportation.

    Transport
    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten June 2026

Transportation for the tours is provided in a comfortable van. During the journey, you will make several stops to visit different tourist attractions.

Two segments between Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes are traveled by train.

if clients wnats to add Entrance fee to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. how can we do that?

    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten June 2026

At the moment, Circuit 2 entrance tickets for Machu Picchu are completely sold out through the end of October.

As an alternative, we can offer Circuit 3 + Huayna Picchu Mountain for an additional cost of USD 35.00 per person. Please note that Circuit 3 only includes the lower section of Machu Picchu, while the Huayna Picchu hike offers spectacular views of the citadel.

Do we fly into Cusco and fly out of Lima? Are airport transfers included in this price

    Flights / Transfers
    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten June 2026

You must fly to Cusco, and at the end of the tour, there is a flight from Juliaca to Lima that needs to be booked on your own. Shuttles to the airports within the itinerary are included.

    Asked on June 19th, 2026

I'm interested in your "Southern Treasures - 8 Days. . . Travelers can expect some light physical activities." My wife and I are seniors in moderately good physical condition. However, my wife has joint pain if she walks over 1 mile or so. Can flexible is the walking part of the tour to accommodate her? Also, would you be able to make arrangements for us to be picked up from the airport?

    Tour Details
    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten February 2026

Unfortunately, all permits (Circuit 2 and 3 for visiting Machu Picchu) are sold out for your travel date. The only ticket available is the Circuit 1 (access to the higher part of the Citadel to get the classic photos, have a guided tour around here and after that return to Aguas Calientes).

In a review I saw that there was a permanent change of the group. Is the group consistent and will there be one main guide?

    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten March 2026

There is a group of 8 people departing on April 28th. If you are added to the group, you will not have the permanent change of group and you will stick together.

      Sara

I heard it's better staying there for one or two days, before going to Cusco. If you have different experiences, please let me know.

    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten March 2026

Normally Lima is visited for some days but can be visited at the end without any problem. Lima is at sea level and acclimatization there does not work.

What is the Machu Picchu ticket called and what does it include?

    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten March 2026

The Machu Picchu tickets we will supply you is called 1B, that only goes to the upper part for the famous photo and then leave. The ticket does not enter to the citadel but you will have the chance to have the best photos.

The extra for the Rainbow Mountain tour is 100 USD per person and must be paid in cash upon arrival in Cusco.

    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten February 2026

Once you book, we will contact you asking for your personal information and buy your Machu Picchu tickets and trains right away because they have a limit on their availability. There will be penalties if you cancel the tour but I suggest looking for another month like July or end of June, because the best tickets for Machu Picchu for May are already sold out. For May, just circuit 1 is available.

Of course, all four of you can join the tour. These are cultural tours suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

For your travel date, we currently have availability only for Circuit 1 at Machu Picchu. This option offers a panoramic experience, allowing you to enjoy the classic views of the citadel from the upper terraces.

I have a $400 travel credit balance. Why does the quoted price breakdown only apply $250 for that?

We thought most people would go Circuit 2. Do you have that option?

    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten February 2026

Tickets to Machu Picchu with Circuit 2 are sold out. The only tickets available are for Circuit 1.

So, will we take Circuit 1A?

    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten February 2026

The circuit is 1B. Considering the ages of the travelers, it is not advisable to climb Machu Picchu Mountain 1A. The most advisable option is to take circuit 1B.

    • Inkayni Peru ToursOperatorWritten February 2026

circuit 1-A (Machu Picchu Mountain) but it is a more expensive ticket. You must pay 40 USD extra per ticket if you want to have them. Also the guided tour to the top of this mountain is not included because it will take 2 hours approx which is considered extra. We only include the tour guide on the upper terraces of Machu Picchu but if you want the tour guide the whole trail, you must add 60 USD for the whole group.

We would need to take a domestic flight from Lima to Cusco. Just wondering how big your tours are? We prefer a private tour, but could live with a tour size of no more than 10. We have not been to Peru before and love history and are active.

We have small groups of 8 to 10 people maximum. If no other travellers join us on the date of your trip, we will only go out with you. On the Route of the Sun and Puno tour, there will be a group of approximately 30 to 40 people. These tours are quite expensive, which is why we travel in a large group.
