Itinerary
- Day 1
Baltra to Santa Cruz Island
You'll arrive at Baltra Airport where your guide meets you for the transfer to Santa Cruz Island. From there, head to a local farm in the highlands to see giant tortoises in their natural habitat. After grabbing lunch, you'll participate in a reforestation project planting native trees. The afternoon takes you to the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about conservation efforts happening on the islands. By evening, you'll finish at the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center to observe different tortoise species up close.

- Day 2
Boat Exploration
Set sail on a boat tour to one of several islands, Santa Fé, South Plaza, Bartolomé, or North Seymour depending on what the National Park permits that day. You'll hike through untouched natural habitats with an expert guide, spotting giant tortoises, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, and other wildlife. After lunch served on deck, relax on pristine beaches and swim in clear waters. The boat returns to Puerto Ayora by day's end.

Santa Cruz to Isabela Island
Take a two-hour public speedboat to Isabela Island. Once you arrive, visit either Flamingo Lagoon or the Giant Tortoise Breeding Station to learn about local wildlife. Following lunch, you'll join a group tour to Tintoreras Islet for a short hike and snorkeling where Humboldt penguins, marine iguanas, sea lions, and sharks live in natural lava flow channels. Spend time snorkeling in turquoise waters spotting fish, sea turtles, rays, and penguins. The evening is free for you to relax.

- Day 4
Sierra Negra Volcano
You'll hike on the crater of Sierra Negra Volcano, one of the world's largest shield volcanoes with a crater nearly six miles across. The six-hour roundtrip starts from Puerto Villamil and ascends to the volcanic summit where you'll explore dramatic lava landscapes and see views of Isabela and Fernandina islands' volcanoes. After finishing the hike, the evening offers optional beach time or snorkeling through Concha Perla's mangrove forests if you still have energy.

Los Tuneles
Board a speedboat from Puerto Villamil for roughly one hour to reach Los Tuneles, a snorkeling spot in the Cabo Rosa lava tunnels. You'll explore unique geological formations including arcs and tunnels created by ancient lava flows. Snorkel in shallow waters to encounter tropical fish, rays, turtles, sea horses, white-tipped reef sharks, and penguins. Later, take the public speedboat back to Santa Cruz Island, which takes about 2 to 2.5 hours, and settle in for your overnight stay.

Santa Cruz Island to Mainland Departure
Before heading to the airport, if time allows, squeeze in some last-minute souvenir shopping or a final walk through Puerto Ayora. At your designated time, your driver picks you up at the hotel and takes you to the Itabaca Channel to cross by ferry. From there, you'll take a public shuttle bus to the airport terminal where your tour ends and you return flight to the mainland departs.
