  1. Day 1

    Nairobi

    Your first day in Nairobi focuses on conservation and culture. Head to the Giraffe Centre to get close to Rothschild's giraffes, then check out the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage where you can learn about elephant rescue efforts. The Karen Blixen Museum gives you insight into Kenya's colonial history, and if you want to see traditional practices, the Bomas of Kenya showcases different ethnic groups and their customs.

  2. Day 2

    Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

    After breakfast you'll drive through bushveld landscape toward Samburu National Reserve, pulling in around mid-afternoon. Once at Larsens Camp you'll grab lunch and rest up a bit. Later in the evening, join a 2-3 hour game drive to see what wildlife is active as the day cools down, then return to camp for dinner.

  3. Day 3

    Samburu

    Get an early start for a morning game drive searching for the Big Three (lions, cheetahs, leopards) along with other mammals roaming the reserve. By mid-morning, return to camp and rest during the heat of the day. When temperatures cool down in late afternoon, head back out for an evening game drive focused on nocturnal animals so you can see how wildlife behaves after dark.

    Samburu National Reserve to Aberdare National Park

    Leave Larsens Camp early for a scenic drive to Sandai Guest Cottages in the Aberdare area. After settling in and having lunch, you'll head out on an evening game drive through Solio Ranch. Look for the Big Five along with wild dogs and other predators, plus keep your eyes up for the various bird species around.

    Today is a transfer day from Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort to Maji Moto Maasai Cultural Camp. The drive takes you through some nice scenery, giving you time to relax and reflect on your safari experiences so far before arriving at your cultural camp base.

  8. Day 8

    Maji Moto Maasai Cultural Camp

    At Maji Moto you'll do several things throughout the day. Take a guided walk through the Loita Hills to see the landscape, spend time talking with Maasai people to understand their daily lives and traditions, and do a walking safari to get near the wildlife. As evening comes, gather around the campfire where Maasai warriors share stories and songs.

    Masai Mara

    Start early with a morning safari led by an experienced guide through Masai Mara Game Reserve where you'll look for the Big Five (African elephant, Cape buffalo, rhino, leopard, lion) and other animals like hyenas, gazelles, impalas, giraffes, and zebras. Break for lunch back at the lodge, then head out again in the afternoon to hunt for harder-to-spot animals like leopards near waterholes. Return for dinner as the day ends.

    Thank you for arranging personalized tour. Overall, all the family members had good experience and fun especially the helpful tour guides and excellent accommodations but some of the arrangements didn’t reach our expectations like having to pay the meals and missing tour even though they should have been included and meeting time.
