Highly recommend! Robert made the trip memorable with his humour and banter. He made each person feel included, and the group bonded quickly over shared chores, jokes and campfires. I will remember the people I met as much as the tour. There was incredible scenery, awesome wildlife and flora, beautiful hikes and quirky little places along the way. Never felt rushed, and the daily schedule was clearly laid out throughout the day. Camping was a tad cold in July but the stargazing out of the swag was amazing and just added to the experience. You will not find a better itinerary to see the Red Centre including Coober Pedy if you like adventure off the beaten track.Show more

I had an amazing time on the tour from Uluru to Adelaide! The group size was perfect, with 11 wonderful people who made the journey even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to our tour guide, Gary, whose helpfulness and uplifting energy kept the atmosphere vibrant throughout the trip! The camping spots were fantastic, with well-maintained showers and other facilities readily available at every stop. Even as someone who’s not a huge fan of camping, I found the entire journey surprisingly comfortable. Despite the significant amount of driving involved, the itinerary was packed with exciting adventures and fascinating places to explore. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and well-organized journey through the Outback!Show more

This was an incredible experience! Amazing views, beautiful sunrise hikes, (bush) camping in swags and learning so much about geological and cultural history. My tour group was very small which created a very relaxed dynamic. No one was left behind or left out. Teamwork makes the dream work. Sid, our tour guide, is pretty damn awesome in what he does. I learned so much about these parts of Australia and he really kept me engaged because he showed authenticity and genuine engagement with people and his surroundings. He was very professional and cool even when things went a little south (blown out tire with a very long drive ahead). He had to stray away from the itinerary a couple of times but I fully trusted him to give us the best experience on this tour. He noticed when you took an interest in learning specific things and would try and teach you about what he knows. Also shoutout to Gary, who was a trainee tour guide. He'll do great on his first tour through the desert and that group will be lucky to have him. This part of Australia is so unique compared to the east coast and south. It's definitely in my top 2 of tours I've been on.Show more

  it is possible to upgrade from your rolled swag to a bigger one that has a bit more structure like a tent for an additional $300. we do provide tents if the weather permits rain and there is a night on the tour where we also provide accommodation, if there's any other point where you would like another room (where it's possible), let us know and we can help figure one out!

  November compared to January, since November we'll be approaching the summer months it won't be as hot or have as high of chances of rain fall, but both dates are stunning times to arrive!

  our motive of transportation is a coaster bus seating max 22 people but we cap it at 16 for comfort. the buses do have A/C and I've seen people bring along tiny battery powered fans just for a little extra air flow.

  We do not work on age limits, so anyone is welcome! What we advise is that whomever joins our tours is prepared for some physical activity. For this particular one, depending on the time of year it can get rather hot. We also have multiple hikes, and sometimes people struggle with the swag camping (getting up and down). So long as you are prepared for this, then everything else falls into place.
