We require a minimum of 02 participants to guarantee a tour departure. Are you planning to travel in a group of 02 or more? If so, we can easily open the booking for your preferred dates. Currently, we have a guaranteed departure on 16 April 2026. At this time, no other departures are confirmed, but we would be happy to help you arrange your trip.

What type of bike is provided? I'm not interested in an e-bike. Which dates in May or June are guaranteed to depart and are there any existing bookings for those dates? Does May or June typically offer better weather for the tour?

We require a minimum of 2 participants per departure. As of now, we do not have any existing bookings for the May 2nd, 2026 date. We are currently optimizing our itinerary to better suit the preferences of the cycling community. Starting in September, we will begin accepting solo traveler bookings on all scheduled departure dates. Solo Tour (Private): 3,870 USD. Standard Price (Shared Twin): 2,580 USD per person (requires a second booking on the same date). We certainly offer standard manual road/touring bikes for those not interested in e-bikes. Both May and June offer great cycling conditions, though May is generally slightly cooler and more comfortable for long days in the saddle.

For a group of two persons, we can guarantee any departure date you request. Unfortunately, solo travelers cannot book this tour due to pricing considerations. However, we do allow solo travelers to join our tours under the following conditions: If there is already one other participant booked on the tour. If you agree to book the tour six months prior to the departure date.

Can I confirm that this is a guaranteed departure date before booking?

We require a minimum of 2 people for the first booking. Currently, we only have your solo request for the desired departure date. If you know anyone who would like to join you, please let us know, and we can assist with the solo booking process.

If I am willing to share a room, do I still pay single supplement?

You will not incur a single supplement if another traveler wishes to share a room with you during the tour. However, if no one is available to share a room, you will be required to pay the single supplement.

Can I come on this trip by myself? The reservation is not allowing a Single traveller.

Our bike tours are typically designed for a minimum group size of 2 people. This means that you would need to book the tour for at least 2 people.

Is it possible to use ebikes instead of mountain bikes on the tour?

Ebikes can be added for 360 USD/person. We offer HIMO ebikes from Xiaomi with battery range of 50-90km. Note that some days have uphill/pass challenges of 10-33 km with 5-10% gradient. Ebikes can assist you in cycling unlimited distance during the holiday.

We had such an incredible time on our 5 day biking trip around the Mekong Delta. We got to see parts of Vietnam that we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to experience. Biking through local villages, rice farms, fish farms, noodle making businesses and lots more. It was amazing. The local people we met along the way were just gorgeous. So many hellos, high 5’s, children biking alongside next to us and we were even given beer and food when we stopped to take photos at a local wedding. The Vietnamese people work so hard, have very little but are happy and content. Every day was different and our guide ‘Danny’ gave us options of biking longer distances if we wanted to. We couldn’t resist the temptation to do more!! The accomodation each night was far better than we had anticipated and there was always so much food. Fruit and water were also provided every time you stopped for a break. We will take away many happy memories from this special trip and couldn’t recommend it more highly.Show more

Our 5 day cycling adventure in the MeKong Delta was truly an amazing and unforgettable experience. Surprisingly, it was just me, my husband, our guide, Lok, and the driver. We were incredibly well looked after. It was 35 degrees every day and we are not young people so it was good to know the air-conditioned van was always an option, if necessary. All meals were at local, non-touristy eateries and the food was always interesting and delicious. There were several cold tea and water breaks for rest and hydration. The rice paddies, fruit trees, jungles, villages and people of the Mekong Delta are beautiful beyond imagination. We learned a great deal about industry and way of life in the Delta and observed first hand the harvesting of fruit and rice and the operations of the fish farming industry. The cycling itself is easy and mostly on flat paved pathways through interesting villages and agricultural lands. We were seldom on roads with cars. At the end of each day’s cycling we were handed a nice cold can of Saigon beer which was a very welcome treat . Lok was extremely knowledgeable on the culture, industry, politics and history of Vietnam and took us to spots that we never would have discovered on our own. Finally, the trip is incredible value for the price. I highly recommend this 5 Day Cycling Tour.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 16th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Vietnam By Bike. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Vietnam By Bike will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
