Dear Slobodan, Thank you sincerely for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your tour overall and that the itinerary allowed you to discover so many beautiful places in Morocco. We truly appreciate your kind words about Anwar. He is indeed a valuable member of our team, and we are delighted that his flexibility, professionalism, and warm personality contributed to making your experience more enjoyable and comfortable. We also thank you for highlighting the points that could be improved. Your comments regarding the steps at the Riad in Chefchaouen, the standard of Riad Taroudant, and the conditions at Camp Majoub and Erg Chigaga are very important to us. We will share this feedback with our accommodation partners to help us continually improve the quality of our services. We are glad that the small group size gave you extra flexibility during the journey and that you felt well taken care of throughout the tour. Thank you once again for choosing to travel with us. It was a pleasure having you, and we hope to welcome you again in the future. Warm regards, Ali

Dear Sylvia, Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review of your 14-day Morocco tour in March 2025. We’re truly happy to hear that you and your wife enjoyed the journey and felt safe and well cared for throughout your adventure. We’re especially grateful for your kind words about Khalifa. He is indeed a valued member of our team, and we’re thrilled to hear he made such a positive impact on your experience. We’ll be sure to pass along your praise to him. Your observations about the itinerary and vehicle comfort are noted and appreciated. We agree that the 4x4 is essential for exploring the rugged terrain and hidden gems of the desert, and we’re glad you found it comfortable for your group size. Regarding the pace of the itinerary, many guests do request a slightly slower rhythm with an extra night or two along the way — and we’re always happy to customize tours to allow for more relaxation and deeper exploration. We’re sorry to hear that the Nomade Palace Camp did not meet expectations, and we appreciate the comparison with Mahjoub Camp — which we’re glad you enjoyed. Your comments help us better evaluate and improve our partnerships with local camps and service providers. The camel ride confusion in Chigaga is something we take seriously, and we’re glad Khalifa was able to assist and clarify things. We’ll make sure our itinerary details are more clearly communicated to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future. Finally, thank you for mentioning Moulin de Taroudant — it’s one of our favorite stops too! A poolside room, a cold drink, and great food are always a winning combination. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Morocco one day for a more relaxed and even more unforgettable adventure. Warm regards, Ali Morocco Tours

    Transport
    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten March 2026

For a smooth and relaxed start, we recommend arriving at least one day before the tour departure.

On average: 3 to 6 hours per day in the vehicle with frequent stops for photos, coffee breaks and sightseeing visits.

Our tours are organized in small groups for comfort and quality. Typically 2 to 6 travelers maximum.

Clothing: Lightweight, breathable clothes (for daytime), a warm layer (evenings can be cool, especially in the desert), comfortable walking shoes, sandals or flip-flops.

Essentials: Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat or cap, small backpack for daily use.

For the desert experience: Scarf or shawl (useful for sun and sand), camera or phone for photos.

Toiletries: Personal items (especially conditioner if needed).

How many hours will travelers spend in transportation each day?
Is water provided during the tour?
How much free time do travelers have at each stop?

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten March 2026

Daily transport time: Travelers usually spend between 3 to 6 hours per day in the vehicle, depending on the itinerary and stops. Some days (such as long desert transfers) may be slightly longer, with regular breaks for comfort, photos, and visits along the way.

Water during the tour: Water is not included in the tour. Travelers can easily purchase bottled water during stops along the route.

Free time at stops: Free time varies depending on the location, but generally travelers have 30 minutes to 1.5 hours per major stop (such as viewpoints, kasbahs, and villages). In the Sahara camp, guests have a longer relaxed evening to enjoy dinner, sunset, and activities.

What is the estimate for extra cost (food, entrance fees etc) par person per day on this tour. Can credit cards be used for payments? Are ATM avalaible in bigger towns.

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten September 2025

On average, you can expect around 15–25 USD per person per day, covering meals not included in the package, entrance fees to monuments, and personal expenses. Credit cards are accepted in many restaurants, hotels, and shops, especially in larger cities. ATMs are widely available in all bigger towns and cities along the route, so withdrawing cash is not a problem. We recommend carrying some cash in Moroccan Dirhams for small local shops, tips, or places where cards may not be accepted.

Could you also provide more detail about the add-on ATV ride and Hot Air Balloon ride - how long is each activity? What do we do if we don't participate?

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten June 2025

ATV Ride in Merzouga: Duration: Around 1 to 1.5 hours. Hot Air Balloon Ride in Marrakech: Approximately 4 hours total. If you choose not to take part in one or both of these activities, you'll simply have free time to relax at your accommodation or explore the surroundings at your own pace.

How much luggage per person should we bring? Are there clothing restrictions in Morocco? How much should we tip? How much should we budget daily for meals and drinks? Are there additional excursions? Do we get an airport transfer on the 7th?

Recommended 1 medium suitcase per person (20-23 kg) plus daypack. Modest clothing appreciated - shoulders and knees covered in conservative areas. Tipping: Guides $2-$3, Driver $5-$7 per day. Daily meal budget: Lunch $7-$15, Dinner $10-$20. Optional excursions include hot air balloon ride, quad biking. No airport transfer if arriving before tour start date.

What kind of clothes do we need for overnight stays in the desert? Are we still the only 3 booked for this trip?

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten July 2025

Pack a light jacket or fleece, scarf, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, closed shoes. Luxury desert camp provides warm bedding. As of now, you're still the only 3 booked, making it a very personalized experience.

Can this tour handle a solo person? I'm checking out this trip for possible in February or March 2026. What's the average weather like in all the places on this itinerary? What's the security in the areas we would be travelling? I ask because I enjoy wondering the city I'm in during free time or in the evenings.

Yes, this tour is absolutely suitable for solo travelers. We often host solo guests, and you'll enjoy the comfort of a private vehicle and your own room (a single supplement applies, and we can share the updated quote if you'd like). Weather (February/March): You've chosen a great time to travel. Here's a general idea of what to expect: Casablanca, Rabat, Essaouira, Agadir: Mild weather (15–22°C / 59–72°F), possibly a little rain. Fes, Chefchaouen, Midelt: Cooler (8–18°C / 46–64°F), especially at night. Sahara Desert (Merzouga, Chigaga): Warm days (18–26°C / 64–79°F), but chilly nights (4–10°C / 39–50°F). Atlas Mountains and Taroudant: Crisp mornings and warm afternoons. Morocco is generally safe for solo travelers, including in the cities you'll visit. Our itineraries allow for some free time in the evenings, and guests often enjoy wandering around the medinas, local cafés, or beaches.
