- PGPatrick· December 17th, 2025I booked the El Calafate & El Chaltén 5-Day Tour, but unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. The communication was poor, with long delays in pick-up times (30-45 minutes), which really impacted my enjoyment. The tours themselves were underwhelming and not worth the price. I feel I could’ve easily done everything on my own, especially considering the delays. The short hike to the Mirador de los Condores lookout in El Chaltén was particularly disappointing - while it's fine to walk up there, the ticket price is meant to cover more than just the lookout. Unfortunately, we only did the short walk to the viewpoint, which made the ticket feel completely overpriced for what we actually experienced. The cost for that 30-minute walk was truly ridiculous, and it's definitely something you can skip entirely. The accommodation was also disappointing, with blocked showers, stained sheets, and poor breakfast quality (for food: only jams and cheap white bread, tea, milk, and coffee... no, I didn’t forget anything). Overall, the tour didn’t deliver the value it promised. If you’re looking to see the glacier in El Calafate, I recommend booking directly on-site rather than through this tour.Show more
