- Day 1
Departure to Brazil
Your Brazilian adventure kicks off as you depart for Rio de Janeiro. This is travel day, so you'll be in transit heading toward the coast.
- Day 2
Rio de Janeiro
You'll arrive in Rio and get transferred to your hotel, then take a walk around Copacabana to check out its history and landmarks including Copacabana Fortress. After that, the day is yours to relax or head to the beaches, which are just five minutes away from most hotels.

- Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
Start with a cable car ride up Sugar Loaf Mountain for views of beaches, the Atlantic rainforest, and historical sites like Santa Cruz fortress. Later you'll explore Rio's historic center, visiting the Cathedral de Sao Sebastiao and the famous Selaron steps. The afternoon is free to spend time on the beach or rest back at your hotel.

- Day 4
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, head to Cosme Velho and take a cogwheel train up Corcovado mountain to see the Christ the Redeemer statue with views of the whole city. Your afternoon is free, so you can either check out Tijuca National Park or come back and try a traditional churrasco dinner later.

- Day 5
Rio de Janeiro to Foz do Iguazu
You have a free morning in Rio before transferring to the airport for a domestic flight to Foz do Iguazu. You'll land in the afternoon and check into your hotel, giving you time to settle in and rest.



- Day 6
Foz do Iguazu
You'll explore the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls using hiking trails to reach different viewpoints. A footbridge takes you over the Rio Iguazu to a platform at Devil's Throat, where water drops about 80 meters straight down. There's an optional boat trip available if you want to get closer to the falls.

- Day 7
Foz do Iguazu to Manaus
Switch to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls and walk trails that show you nearly 3 kilometers of the waterfall front, ending at Devil's Throat. A panoramic elevator adds another perspective before you head to the airport for a flight to Manaus and the Amazon.

- Day 8
Manaus to Amazon Lodge
This morning combines a car and speedboat journey into the jungle heading toward your lodge. You'll see where the Rio Negro and Rio Solimoes meet to form the Amazon, visit indigenous and Caboclo communities with floating homes, then arrive at the lodge for lunch. By afternoon you're on a boat tour looking for caimans, birds, monkeys, and possibly river dolphins.

Amazon Rainforest
If weather cooperates, start before sunrise to hear howler monkeys and watch birds. Walk through the jungle with a guide learning survival skills like climbing and finding food and water. Piranha fishing is optional. After dinner, take a nighttime boat tour with torches to spot caimans in the dark.

Amazon Rainforest to Manaus
You'll navigate through flooded jungle areas called igapos and typical jungle channels while watching for freshwater dolphins. Visit a local Caboclo family to learn about their rainforest life and customs. By afternoon you're heading back to Manaus, leaving your evening free.

- Day 11
Manaus to Imbassai
Your flight from Manaus heads to Salvador da Bahia in the morning, and then it's about a 1.5 hour drive north to Imbassai, a quiet coastal town. Depending on when you land, breakfast might not happen, but once you get settled at your pousada, you'll have some beach time to decompress if the schedule allows. The transfer covers roughly 90 km, so you'll be traveling most of the day. Later in the evening, you'll stay overnight at your accommodations and get some rest before things pick up tomorrow.

Imbassai
Two days to unwind on the sandy beach or swim in the Atlantic. You can paddle the Rio Imbassai by kayak, visit a turtle breeding station at Praia do Forte, or take a day trip to Salvador's historic old town if that appeals to you.

- Day 14
Imbassai to Salvador
You'll leave the beach and drive to Salvador to catch your return flight to Germany, ending your time in Brazil.

Return to Germany
You arrive back in Germany with memories of the Amazon, the falls, and Rio's beaches. Maybe bring back some cachaca to remember it all later.
