    Casablanca

    You'll arrive in Casablanca and meet your group at this Atlantic coast city. After settling in, head to a welcome dinner at a local restaurant where you'll get to know the other travelers joining this tour.

  2. Day 2

    Casablanca to Fes

    Following breakfast, travel north to Rabat for a guided walk through the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan Tower. From there, continue on to Fes where the evening is yours to do as you like, whether that's exploring around town or staying at your hotel to relax.

    Meknes - Fes

    The day starts with a stop in Moulay Idriss, then you'll head to Meknes for a guided walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage site, finishing at the impressive Bab Mansour Gate. Lunch and local wine tasting are included, then return to Fes for a quiet evening.

    Rissani to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

    Begin with a walking tour of Rissani, the historic location of the ancient desert capital Sijilmasa. Then transfer to four-wheel drives and head into the Sahara Desert to reach your camp near Merzouga. A traditional Berber feast with local entertainment happens in the evening.

    Beware when booking this trip the itinerary was not followed.Legal proceedings have commenced and I cant elaborate on details here. A positive the guide was really lovely and Morocco is an amazing place we didnt get what was promised

For tours departing after February 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Back-Roads Touring. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Back-Roads Touring will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
