It was a great experience in Japan! The tour guide called Trend was excellent ! The itinerary could be slightly improved… stayied 2 nights in Osaka but an included tour of the city wasn’t included, was rather focused towards the optional ( at extra cost ) day trip to Hiroshima. Also no group lunch or dinner meals were included to help the group bonding. Perhaps include an evening street food group excursion in Osaka

We had an excellent time on our tour, Tour Radar did a very good job overall. Our tour guide was very informative, friendly, patient (we had a couple of high-maintenance people in our group) and a joy to be with. Our driver was very punctual and the transportation was very clean. The hotels were very nice, better than we expected in most cases. We saw everything that we wanted to see and would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see Japan! Knocked off one start just because our tour director was given a different itinerary than what we got, so it caused some confusion with our last hotel and scrambling to make an extra reservation for an extra night, but it all worked out. We would book with Tour Radar in the future!

This 8-night Japan tour was an amazing experience from start to finish! The itinerary covered all the highlights — Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Mt. Fuji, and Tokyo — with just the right pace to enjoy each destination. The 3-star hotels were clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Breakfast each morning was delicious and offered plenty of variety. Our tour guide Yoyo was outstanding — friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Everything was well organized, and the group had a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the best of Japan in one unforgettable trip!

Do NOT use "Stunning Tours" to visit Japan This tour had many great things and a few bad things. Starting with the good. The itinerary was excellent. We saw so many amazing sites and experiences. Japan is a wonderful place. It felt rushed but that was a tradeoff for jamming so much into so few days. I wish I had more vacation days so I could have stayed longer. The hotels were nice. They were large compared to standard Japanese hotel rooms. The breakfast buffet each morning was high quality with a wide variety of food. The bus was very comfortable. The driver was good. We had plenty of room for us and our luggage. It was nice to relax on the bus between all of the sites we went to. The price of the tour was reasonable considering all the places we went, the hotels, the breakfast etc. The BAD. It was challenging to take a train with all of our luggage to and from the airport. There were 2 optional tours and some extra entrance fees at two sites that we had to pay for after arriving in Japan. In the tour instructions it explained that Hiroshima was extra and we would have to pay when we arrived. It is worth the money but we should have been able to prepay before leaving on our trip. The guide told us we could also do an optional Osaka Castle tour for $40. This was not in the tour instructions. It was worth the $40 but again it should have been included. The guide paid for the entrance to most sites but at two of them he said if you want to actually go in and see the site then go buy a ticket. It was just a few bucks but again it should have been included according to the tour instructions. The tour guide was horrible. He was nice and funny but that is the end of the good things. He kept leaving people behind. He would just do a quick glance and if he thought everyone was there he would just take off. He did not use his flag pole and he was hard to see. He walked very fast and it was hard to keep up. I think every single person in the group was left behind at least once. We had to band together and tell him that he was leaving someone again. The last few days he finally started counting heads He would tell us a meeting spot and time. Then he would change his mind and not tell everyone. We learned quickly not to trust his instructions. As a group we would all verify with each other where and when he actually wanted to meet. He did very little guiding. We would arrive at a new site and he would say that he wanted us to have personal time and to be flexible so go explore on your own and meet back in 30 minutes. I paid for a tour guide so that they could explain the history and significance of each place as we walked around as a tour group. He felt more like a chaperone than a tour guide. The HORRIBLE The very first night he asked us to pay for the Hiroshima Tour. I gave him my credit card. It did not work even though it had been working for a few days in Japan. He showed me his phone where it said in Japanese that it didn't work. I contacted my card and they said everything was fine. He ended up charging my card 4 times. I was paying for 6 people so it was $2000 each charge or $8000 total. It almost maxed out my card at the beginning of my trip. My credit card company immediately cancelled 2 of the payments as duplicates but two remained as pending. He said that he never got paid. I showed him my credit card app where it still showed two payments as pending. I ended up contacting my credit card company 4 times. They told me every time that it was something wrong with the Tour Company. The guide pestered me the whole week and asked me to pay in cash even though my credit card was already charged. At the end of the week, I paid cash and cancelled all of the credit card charges. It cost me a bunch extra in bank fees to use an ATM to withdraw so much cash. I highly recommend you visit Japan but don't use "Stunning Tours"

The Hiroshima optional tour is 54000 JPY per guest. Which is around 533.86 AUD based on the exchange rate of 101.15. Honestly our rates arent good for individual hotel bookings. I would suggest booking directly with the hotel or on similar sites. This tour starts from Osaka actually, and finish in Tokyo.

Plan to fly into Osaka and spend 2 days extra towards the end of the tour i.e from the 4th to the 6th of April. How far is the hotel from Osaka and what is the best way to get to the hotel in Osaka.

    • Stunning ToursOperatorWritten November 2025

The tour starts from Osaka and finish in Tokyo. The first night hotel will be an airport hotel that is only one station away from the Kansai Airport by train. For the second and third night hotels in Osaka the group will move to another hotel near the city of Osaka. Our past hotels include Dotonbori Crystal Exe, Osaka Castle Hotel.

Will the tour be via Bus and how big will be the group in the Bus. Can we pay for the optional tours in AUD. What is your experience with stunning tours. After the tour we planning to stay back in tokyo for 2 days. What is the name of the Tokyo hotel.

    • Stunning ToursOperatorWritten November 2025

Yes the transportation between cities and attractions will be by bus. There are currently 7 guests on this tour. We expect to have around 20 guests and it will be a big bus with 30~40 seats. Please make the payment for the optional tour in JPY. You may exchange for the money in Japan upon arrival at the airport. Our hotels will be finalized around one month before the departure date.

They would need two rooms as we don't have triple rooms in most hotels of Japan.
