- Day 1
Las Vegas
You'll arrive in Las Vegas whenever your flight gets in. There's nothing scheduled today, so you can spend your time however you'd like. If you land early, the Strip is right there to check out, with the dancing fountains, pirate ship, volcano, and replica landmarks all within easy reach. Try the casinos if that's your thing, or just walk around and get a feel for the city. Your Tour Leader will have meeting details waiting at the hotel reception for tomorrow's morning briefing.

Las Vegas to Grand Canyon
After breakfast, you'll meet your Tour Leader for the initial briefing. Then you're heading towards the Grand Canyon along Historic Route 66, the famous old highway that built America. The drive takes you through Seligman, a quirky Route 66 town where you'll stop for lunch. From there, continue on towards the canyon and you'll reach it by evening, just in time to watch the sun set over this massive landscape carved over 2 billion years, stretching about 445km across.

Grand Canyon to Page
Your morning is open to explore the Grand Canyon at your own pace. You can walk some of the easier rim trails that have great viewpoints, or if you want more of a challenge, the Bright Angel Trail takes you down below the rim. Later in the afternoon, head towards Page, Arizona with a stop at Desert View viewpoint for photos before you go. Page is right on Lake Powell, which you'll see when you get there.

- Day 4
Page to Monument Valley
You have options this morning. Head to Antelope Canyon, which formed from flash floods over time, or spend the morning at Lake Powell if you prefer the water. There's also a short walk out to Horseshoe Bend, an overlook where the Colorado River makes an impressive 270-degree turn. In the afternoon, drive to Kayenta on the Navajo Reservation and then continue into Monument Valley where you'll spend the night. The landscape here is dramatic, with isolated monoliths and sandstone pinnacles reaching up to 1000m, and it's where you'll be tomorrow for the eclipse.

- Day 5
Monument Valley (Eclipse Day)
The annular eclipse happens at about 10:29am, lasting around 4 minutes and 27 seconds (weather allowing). You'll access Monument Valley's remote backcountry by jeep with a Navajo guide to see iconic locations. An expert astronomer will be there to explain what's happening and answer your questions. Eclipse glasses are provided, and food gets served during the jeep tour, timing it as brunch or lunch depending on the eclipse schedule. After the eclipse, drive to Moab, Utah, which is known as an adventure hub with access to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks nearby.

- Day 6
Moab (Arches & Canyonlands)
Spend your morning in Arches National Park, which has the world's largest collection of natural sandstone arches. The Devil's Garden trail takes about three hours and walks you through landscapes packed with arches, including Landscape Arch. If time allows, do the easier Windows Loop, which takes around 1.5 hours. In the afternoon, go to Canyonlands National Park and hike to Mesa Arch in the Island in the Sky district for views across the region. You'll head back to Moab for the evening.

Moab to Bryce Canyon
You're driving east towards Bryce Canyon on State Highway 24, and the route takes you directly through Capitol Reef National Park. It's one of Utah's quieter parks that doesn't get as much attention. Walk around and check out the colored sandstone cliffs, twisting canyons, and various viewpoints before continuing on to Bryce.

- Day 8
Bryce Canyon
Get up early and head to Sunrise Point to watch Bryce Canyon at sunrise, catching the first light hit the golden colors across the landscape. The afternoon is for exploring the hoodoo formations and their unusual shapes. You can hike the Navajo Loop or walk through Queen's Garden to see the pink, orange, and red spires lining the canyon walls. The formations are surreal and strange in the best way, shaped like sculptures carved into the rock.

Bryce Canyon to Zion Canyon
Leave early for Zion National Park so you have as much time as possible to explore. The main feature is Zion Canyon, a 15-mile rift cut through red and tan sandstone. The Watchman's Trail takes about 2 hours and is moderate difficulty, passing formations like the Towers of the Virgin and ending at an overlook of the Watchman pinnacle. If you want more of a challenge, Scout's Lookout takes 3 hours but the views are worth it. Alternatively, take the shuttle bus along the valley floor for easier walking. Later, drive to Hurricane for your final night.

Hurricane to Las Vegas
Your tour ends today and you're heading back to Las Vegas. You have two drop-off choices: the Stratosphere Hotel at 11am or Las Vegas International Airport at 11:30am.
