  1) What is the quality of the hotels provided? For example, are they equivalent to 4-star accommodations? Are there any upgrade options available? 2) I see that the tour ends in Marrakech—does the itinerary include a guided tour of the city, or would you recommend staying an extra day to explore it properly? 3) For optional activities like quad biking, do we need to pre-book in advance, or is it possible to arrange these during the trip as well? 4) What times does the tour typically start and finish? For example, would we need to arrive to tangier the day before the tour begins and depart from marrakech the day after it ends? I'd like to get a better estimate of how many days off I'll need.

    We offer two accommodation packages for this tour:
    Standard Package (included in the online price): A selection of carefully chosen hotels, you can find the full list in the attached program.
    Luxury Package (upgrade available at +€590 per person): A premium selection of higher-end properties for a more elevated experience.
    
    Our services conclude in Marrakech on Day 6, but we'd love to help you make the most of your time there if you choose to stay longer! We offer a range of add-on experiences:
    ½ Day Walking Tour of Marrakech: €30/person
    Hot Air Balloon Experience: €200/person
    Day Trip to Essaouira (coastal town): €70/person
    Airport Transfer: €15/person
    
    Optional activities like quad biking can be arranged during the trip itself, so there's no pressure to decide in advance. That said, if you'd like to pre-book for peace of mind, you're welcome to do so through your tour page. Either way works perfectly!
    
    The tour begins at 9:00 AM on Day 1, we can pick you up directly from your hotel, the airport, or the port in Tangier, whichever is most convenient for you. The tour wraps up in Marrakech at approximately 6:00 PM on Day 6. We would recommend arriving in Tangier the day before (Day 0) to be ready for the 9 AM departure and planning to leave Marrakech the day after (Day 7) to comfortably enjoy the last evening without rushing. This means budgeting 8 days total would give you a relaxed and stress-free experience.

    1) When I go to make a booking, I don't see an option for a hotel upgrade, aside from the "Upgrade to luxury desert camp." Could you please let me know if there is a separate option to upgrade the hotel at the time of booking?
    
    2) I will be traveling with my husband, and we will be sharing one room. Could you kindly clarify why the €590 hotel upgrade you mentioned is priced per person rather than per room? Additionally, for the luxury desert camp upgrade, is there going to be 1 room for couples? I ask because, similarly, the cost appears to be listed per person.
    
    3) In the "additional services" section (e.g., sandboarding in the dunes), I just wanted to confirm that all these are already included as part of the booking and not optional.

    Regarding the booking process, there isn't a separate upgrade option on the booking page at this stage, but no need to worry! Simply confirm with us here that you'd like the luxury hotel upgrade, and we'll add it directly to your quotation. Once you approve it, TourRadar will process the payment from the card you used to book the trip.
    
    The price is per person because the tour price is listed per person online (as we welcome groups of varying sizes 2, 3, 4 travelers, etc.), it's simplest for us to keep all pricing consistent on a per person basis. It's not a per room charge it simply reflects your individual share of the upgrade cost.
    
    Since you will be traveling as a couple, you will be provided with a double room in all hotels throughout the tour, as well as a double tent in the desert camp. You won't be sharing with anyone else.
    
    The ½ Day Walking Tour of Marrakech is a flexible activity! It doesn't have to be on Day 7 specifically. We simply schedule it after the main tour ends by default since we don't know your departure flight time in advance. Just let us know when works best for you and we'll arrange it accordingly.
    
    The additional services listed, such as sandboarding in the dunes, are optional activities available to have in the sand dunes during the sunset time.

    I'm also interested in adding a half-day Marrakech tour (please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the current itinerary includes this?). If it were added on Thursday, May 7, how long would it last, and what time would it likely finish? I'd like to plan my return flight accordingly.

  Could you please let us know if a 12:55 pm arrival on Day 1 allows enough time for the tour to start, or should I plan to arrive a day earlier?

    we start the trip around 9 to 10AM, depend on the number of hotels travelers booked in.
    12h55 is very late, because we start the mean walking tour of the bleu city at 2PM, and the bleu city (chefchaouen is in 2 hours drive from Tanger.

    Please note that the hotel in Marrakech is not included at the end of the tour, but we are happy to recommend good accommodation options or assist you with booking if needed.

    Yes, we can confirm that twin rooms (2 separate beds) can be provided throughout the trip, including the desert camp. If you choose to upgrade the camp, the luxury camp also offers twin beds, so this can be guaranteed before you book.
    
    The price you see online is for the Standard Group Package. Our group size is always small, usually between 2 and 7 travelers.
    
    For the Standard Package, accommodations are typically:
    1st night in Chefchaouen: Riad Tassili or similar
    2nd night in Fes: Riad Al Mozyan or similar
    3ed night in the Atlas Mountains: Hotel Meteorite Boulaajoul or similar
    4th night in the desert: Comfortable Berber camp
    5th night in Boumalen Dades: Riad Babylone or similar
    
    If you wish to upgrade to the full Luxury Package, the extra is 570 Euros per person, and accommodations would be:
    1st night in Chefchaouen: Riad Jasmine or similar
    2nd night in Fes: Riad Lys or similar
    3ed night in the Atlas Mountains: Hotel Xaluca Aguelmam or similar
    4th night in the desert: Luxury Berber camp
    5th night in Boumalen Dades: Eden Boutique or similar
    
    You also have the option to book the Standard Package and upgrade only the desert stay to the luxury camp, while keeping the rest standard.

  I'm a musician in my 50s and travelling alone. I want to get from Tangier to the 21st festivale du nomads on 3 rd April. At the end of the festival 6 th April, I need to get to Nador. My ferry sails on 8 th. Do you have any tours that would fit with this. Would I be able to do less than a full tour and end in Hamid?

For your case, we can customize the last day and finish the tour in Mhamid instead, so you can attend the Festival du Nomades from April 3 to April 6. After the festival ends on April 6, we can arrange your transfer from Mhamid to Nador, so you arrive comfortably before your ferry on April 8.   We are family of 4 and my son has disability and we use stroller for him for long distances. Wondering if this is workable tour for us. He won't be able to ride the camel or go ATV. Is it possible for us to still enjoy all your are offering with the exception of him and a person to go through car instead?

    Yes, absolutely, we can make this tour work perfectly for your family. Since it's mainly a road trip across Morocco, your son will be in the car most of the time. You will just need to take full responsibility for moving him during hotel check-ins and walking tours. Some places, like Chefchaouen and Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, are built on hills or uneven ground, but our guide will always help you find the easiest and safest path possible. In Fes, it's much smoother and easier to navigate, so that part will be more comfortable. We can also arrange a car ride instead of the camel ride for him in desert, with an additional cost of 65 USD.

    We are currently fully booked for new private departures during the last 2 weeks of December, but you are very welcome to join our small group tour starting December 20th to 25th. Each family or group will have their own private room (double or twin, depending on your preference). For children aged 2 to 10 years old, we offer a 50% discount when sharing a room with two adults.
