  1. I would like to know the names of the hotels I would be staying in during the trip. And how far the first and last hotels are from the airports. 2. How do I make arrangements at the hotel to arrive on May 22 since the tour starts at 10:00am on May 23. 3. Is there a senior discount? 4. The supplement for a single occupancy is very high, can I get the supplement removed or discounted? 5. Do we go all the way up to Mount Rushmore to the top?

    1. I will include the accommodations below, these are majority of the time what we use but please note these may be subject to change.
    Night 1-2 Legion Lake Lodge
    Night 3 Best Western Sheridan Center
    Night 4 Buffalo Bill Village Cabins
    Night 5-6 Yellowstone Big Rock Inn
    
    2. We can organize a pre-night for you, this would be $275.00 USD at the joining point hotel; Elevation Inn & Suites, Trademark Collection by Wyndham.
    
    3. Sorry, we do not offer a senior discount. But the May 23rd departure date is already on sale currently!
    
    4. The single supplement is not mandatory. As a solo traveller, you will be roomed with another solo female traveller. If you would like your own room then the single supplement would need to be paid for and there is no discount on this.
    
    5. The visit to Mount Rushmore allows you to hike the Presidential Trail; which is 0.6 miles and takes you on a scenic walking loop offering you various angles of Mount Rushmore National Memorial as you go! With 422 stairs, the trail offers up-close and different views at each face.

  I saw online that in 2025 the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument is scheduled to undergo major reconstruction and will be closed most of the week during the work period. If we are planning to start our trip 13 Sep 2025, will we still be able to enjoy the guided tour of the battlefield. This part of the trip is very important to us.

    We do not offer any of the big bus tours, the maximum size of our groups on these trips is only 12 people. Because of this we use the smaller mini vans to get around.

    Intrepid accommodation are on twin share basis. You will be roomed with another passenger who is on the tour. A single supplement is available if you prefer not to share a room. Once the tour ends in Bozeman, we can check if transfers can be arranged to airport or you can speak to the tour leader.

    There are no age restrictions for this trip. Minimum age is 15 years. We have a 'Georgia History Trail to Nashville' tour which you can view on the website.

  Describe the seating in the vehicle for transporting up to 13 people from site to site. Is it a van with multiple people sitting on bench type seat or more like a motor coach with individual seats?

    Traditionally we use a 16 passenger bus for our small groups. There is usually a back bench and then seating in twos. The max group size on this trip is 12 passengers. Our large fleet of vans are fully equipped with dual air-conditioning system, V8 engines and any camping or cooking equipment needed for your trip. Most have cloth-upholstered seats and carpeted interior with radio/tape or CD players. Your luggage is transported in a trailer which is towed behind the van.

    Our standard twin accommodation is only able to accommodate two adults in a room. If three of you are travelling together one of you may wish to add a single supplement to secure your own room, otherwise one of you may be partnered up with another traveler of the same gender. In some destinations a triple room may be available but would not be guaranteed and would be a request sent to our local team once we had trip confirmed for you.
