I saw online that in 2025 the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument is scheduled to undergo major reconstruction and will be closed most of the week during the work period. If we are planning to start our trip 13 Sep 2025, will we still be able to enjoy the guided tour of the battlefield. This part of the trip is very important to us.

Do you offer bus tours

We do not offer any of the big bus tours, the maximum size of our groups on these trips is only 12 people. Because of this we use the smaller mini vans to get around.

Describe the seating in the vehicle for transporting up to 13 people from site to site. Is it a van with multiple people sitting on bench type seat or more like a motor coach with individual seats?

Traditionally we use a 16 passenger bus for our small groups. There is usually a back bench and then seating in twos. The max group size on this trip is 12 passengers. Our large fleet of vans are fully equipped with dual air-conditioning system, V8 engines and any camping or cooking equipment needed for your trip. Most have cloth-upholstered seats and carpeted interior with radio/tape or CD players. Your luggage is transported in a trailer which is towed behind the van.

Can we book 3 adult males into a twin room?

Our standard twin accommodation is only able to accommodate two adults in a room. If three of you are travelling together one of you may wish to add a single supplement to secure your own room, otherwise one of you may be partnered up with another traveler of the same gender. In some destinations a triple room may be available but would not be guaranteed and would be a request sent to our local team once we had trip confirmed for you.

  Intrepid accommodation are on twin share basis. You will be roomed with another passenger who is on the tour. A single supplement is available if you prefer not to share a room. Once the tour ends in Bozeman, we can check if transfers can be arranged to airport or you can speak to the tour leader.
