Budapest
You'll arrive in Budapest and have the rest of the day to settle in. The choice is yours here - either wander around the city on your own or just relax after your travel. Budapest sits right on the Danube, so there's plenty to see if you feel like getting out, but there's no pressure to do much on your first day.

- Day 2
Budapest
This morning starts with a guided city tour that hits Heroes' Square and other key spots around Budapest. Later this afternoon, you'll board your Suite Ship and get settled in your cabin. Dinner happens onboard as you cruise overnight toward Mohács, so you can start getting comfortable with the ship's rhythm.

Ilok
You'll head to the Adventure Center in Mohács and pick your activity for the day. Walk around town with your Adventure Host, take a guided tour of this quiet Danube harbor town to see its historical sites and churches, or visit the medieval St. Nicholas Watermill. If you want something different, there's a guided tour to nearby Pécs where you can see 4th-century Christian underground tombs (a UNESCO site) and catch an organ concert. The ship cruises overnight to Ilok.

Novi Sad
Your morning includes a guided tour of Ilok's 1,000-year-old winemaking tradition and medieval fortress. Then you'll cruise to Novi Sad with lunch on the ship. Once there, you can either walk around town with your Adventure Host or join a guided tour showing off the Austro-Hungarian old town with its baroque buildings and fortifications. Another overnight cruise takes you to Belgrade.

Belgrade
Start your Belgrade day choosing between walking the central area with your Adventure Host or taking a guided tour that shows you where the Danube and Sava Rivers meet and features the Saint Sava Orthodox church. After that, there's an onboard lecture about Balkan history and culture. Later, you'll explore Knez Mihailova Street on your own time, checking out cafes and shops, or you can join an optional excursion instead. That evening, consider an optional authentic Bohemian dinner in Skadarlija Quarter before cruising overnight to Golubac.

Vidin
You'll tour the Fortress of Golubac, one of Europe's best preserved medieval fortresses, and learn about its complex history. After sailing to Donji Milanovac, either walk with your Adventure Host or join a guided tour to Lepenski Vir, a Mesolithic archaeological site. The day includes sailing through the Iron Gates Gorge, a dramatic natural border between Serbia and Romania. You'll cruise overnight to Vidin.

Rousse
In Vidin, you get to choose how you spend your time. Explore on your own or join a guided tour of the city, then optionally take a guided excursion to Belogradchik to see remarkable rock formations on the Balkan Mountains that have been sculpting over 200 million years. That night you'll cruise to Rousse.

Oltenita
Pick from several options in Rousse. You can take a walk in the park with your Adventure Host, go on a full-day guided tour to Veliko Tarnovo (the ancient capital with stone houses built into cliffs above the Yantra River dating back to 4300 BC) and the 15th-century Bulgarian Revival town of Arbanassi, or join a guided tour of Rousse itself to see its impressive Holy Trinity Church. Later, enjoy live Bulgarian folklore entertainment onboard before cruising overnight to Oltenita.

You'll disembark for a guided tour of Bucharest, walking tree-lined boulevards and seeing the Arc de Triomphe honoring WWI Romanian soldiers. The tour includes Royal Palace Square, the site of the 1989 riots that ended communist rule. After that, you'll have free time to explore shops, museums, and the architecture along Victory Avenue, or you can take one of the optional excursions available.
