Your guide picks you up at the airport to kick off your Icelandic trip. From there, you'll head to the Blue Lagoon where you can soak in the warm, mineral-rich water. You get a complimentary drink included, and the silica mask is yours to use as much as you want. The facility also has a sauna and steam room if you're interested. You'll start at Þingvellir National Park to see where tectonic plates are actually pulling apart and where Iceland's parliament first gathered back in 930 A.D. Next comes Brúarfoss Waterfall with its striking blue water and multiple cascading streams. Then you reach Geysir Geothermal Area where Strokkur geyser shoots water about 130 feet up roughly every 5 minutes, so it's pretty reliable for photos. The route ends at Gullfoss Waterfall, which gets its water from Langjökull glacier, and you might catch rainbows in the spray depending on the sun. You'll finish near Hella for the night.

After that, Seljalandsfoss is where you can actually walk behind the waterfall itself, which is a unique experience. Later you'll get to Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach to see the basalt columns, feel the power of the Atlantic waves, and look for puffins on the cliffs if you're there between June and August. You can choose to take a boat ride through the icebergs or walk along the lagoon's edge if you prefer to stay on land.
