- Day 1
Vancouver to Jasper
You'll head to Vancouver Pacific Center Train Station and board VIA Rail at 3:00 PM for an overnight journey to Jasper. Plan to arrive at least an hour early to complete check-in. If you're in economy class, meals aren't included, though food and drinks are available for purchase on board. Those with sleeper class upgrades will have dinner provided.

Jasper National Park
The train pulls into Kamloops for a quick 30-minute stop, then continues toward Jasper station, arriving around 11:00 AM. You'll meet your guide there and catch some great views of Mt Robson as you approach Jasper National Park. Your bus tour covers Maligne Lake (the largest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies), Maligne Canyon with its limestone formations, then finishes at Jasper Town where you can explore on your own.

- Day 3
Jasper - Athabasca Falls - Columbia Icefield - Bow Lake - Peyto Lake
Start your morning driving through Jasper National Park, Canada's largest park, and head to Athabasca Falls where you'll see the powerful water flow fed by the Columbia Glacier. From there, take the scenic Icefield Parkway south and spend time at the Columbia Icefield, where you can hop on an Ice Explorer tour to get out onto the glacier itself or try the Glacier Skywalk if you prefer staying above ground (65°F/18°C). Later in the afternoon, stop by Bow Lake and Peyto Lake for photography and short nature walks along the shoreline. The turquoise water at both lakes makes for great photos, especially if the light is clear. Plan on being on the road most of the day with several stops, so grab lunch somewhere along the parkway.

- Day 4
Lake Louise and Yoho National Park
You'll visit Lake Louise, which was named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta and offers excellent photo opportunities. After that, head to Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, where mountains and waterfalls surround the vivid turquoise water. Then it's into Yoho National Park on the western slopes of the Canadian Rockies. You'll pass through the Spiral Tunnel, an engineering feature, and see Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge that was carved by rushing water.

- Day 5
Banff National Park
Start in Banff National Park, Canada's first national park. You have the option to take a scenic gondola up Sulphur Mountain for panoramic views and boardwalk trails at the top. Johnston Canyon is on the agenda, known for its waterfalls and walking trails with catwalks along the canyon walls. You'll also see Bow Falls near Banff Springs Hotel, check out the mountain views at Surprise Corner, and walk through the distinctive Hoodoos rock formations. The day finishes with free time in Banff Town, where you can shop and eat at your own pace.
