  I understand that accommodation on this tour is mostly multi-share / dorm style. Could you please confirm if there is any option at all for private or single room accommodation during the trip? If not, could you recommend any similar tours that offer a "My Own Room" or private room option?

    Yes, our accommodation on this trip is all multi-share dorm rooms. If you would like to have your own room throughout the trip, we can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you.

    The rooms are multi-share, mixed-sex dorms. If you're travelling with your fiancée, we can link your bookings and ensure that you're roomed together in the same dorm. If you'd prefer a bit more privacy, we can look into a private room option for an additional £500.

    Unfortunately the hostels we stay at in New Zealand do not accept anyone over the age of 45, so we wouldn't be able to book your father onto a tour there.

    We can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you. However we do room you with someone of the same gender (excluding multi-share accommodation) and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. Also Group Members are in their hotel rooms for a very limited time throughout the trip, as there are activities most days and things planned most evenings.

    For a private room it would cost an extra $600 USD and this would be a private room for the entirity of the tour, however just to make you aware some of the accommodations will still have shared bathrooms on the landings instead of ensuites.

  I'm interested in joining one of your tours in New Zealand. Could you please provide more details about the new itinerary starting from January 5th? Could you explain how the NZ Adventure North and NZ Intro North tours differ?

    NZ Adventure is a 9 day group tour showing the best of either the North or South Island. NZ Intro has all the same inclusions plus additional support for working holiday travelers, including bank account setup, IRD Number, NZ SIM card, and access to INTRO Jobs Program.
