As potential solo traveler, I am wondering if all accommodation has single rooms with ensuite bathrooms? Also may I check the age of this group please? I am female in my early 30s so would be great to be in a group with similar age / preference for activities.

We currently have 11 confirmed travellers: 3 in their 20s, 1 in 40s, 4 in their 60s and 3 above 70. You'd be very welcome to join the group, and we often find that travellers connect well regardless of age. A single supplement is available if you'd prefer your own room, and this applies to all nights of the trip. Single rooms with ensuite bathrooms are generally available at these properties.

The minimum age for this trip is 15 year. For this trip, a single supplement is available if you'd prefer your own room. This applies to all nights of the trip and is subject to availability your booking agent can provide further details.

Unfortunately, there's no availability for the 21 December 2025 departure. However, we do have availability on the 7th or 28th December departures.

Our New Zealand West Coast Adventure trip is a 7 day itinerary starting in Christchurch and ending at Queenstown. Accommodations - Hotel (5 nights), Motel (1 night). Transport - Private Vehicle. Meals - 6 breakfasts.

What is the bed situation for two adult travelers? May we get accommodations with 1 queen bed or 2 double beds during the tour?

I would be traveling with my mother who is in her 60s. Just to confirm, we would stay in accommodations where we would each have our own twin bed? But in some cases, the two of us would be in the same room as another group? (i.e., a hostel-type setting)? Just wanted to validate.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The group we were a part of was just exceptional and we loved our time with them. Our guide was knowledgeable, amusing and bent over backward to make our time with him fulfilling, educational and comfortable. Our time wasn't without adversity, as a major road closure altered our itinerary significantly on one day. The alternate agenda turned out to be a fantastic experience. The only downside was that while the overnight accommodations were adequate, a couple were severely cramped for space. This may just be par for the course in New Zealand though and we adjusted accordingly. It was still a 5 of 5 adventure.Show more
