- Day 1
Vancouver
Start at Canada Place to get oriented with the waterfront views, then head into Gastown and check out the Steam Clock in action. From there, you can walk along Robson Street if you want to shop or just browse the storefronts. The Seawall is perfect for walking or cycling, so pick whichever works best for you. Stop by Granville Island's Public Market to grab lunch and wander through the artisan shops. Later, spend time in Stanley Park exploring the rainforest paths, looking at the totem poles, and stopping at viewpoints like Prospect Point. The Hollow Tree and Brockton Point Lighthouse are worth finding while you're there.

- Day 2
Vancouver to Whistler
Leave Vancouver early and head north on the Sea to Sky Highway. First stop is Capilano Suspension Bridge Park where you'll walk the canopy walkway and cross the suspension bridge. Keep going and check out Whytecliff Park for coastal views. Pass through Squamish and stop at Porteau Cove Provincial Park to take in the scenery. Britannia Beach, an old mining village, shows up next along your route. Shannon Falls waterfall is worth stepping out to see the water cascade down. Before reaching Whistler, you'll pass by Brandywine Falls, which drops 70 meters and makes for good photos. Arrive in Whistler in the evening to settle in.

Whistler
Spend your morning in Whistler Village at the base of the mountains and visit the Whistler Olympic Plaza to see the 2010 Winter Games site. You can pick optional activities depending on the season: ATV tours or snowmobile rides if you want adventure, scenic seaplane flights for aerial views, or hit the spa if you prefer to relax. By afternoon, start heading back toward Vancouver and drive down the Sea to Sky Highway to return to the city by evening.

Vancouver to Victoria via Ferry
Travel from Vancouver to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and take the roundtrip ferry to Victoria on Vancouver Island (crossing takes about 90 minutes each way). Once in Victoria, head to Butchart Gardens, the 22-hectare garden spread with seasonal displays and walking paths. After that, tour Craigdarroch Castle to see the Victorian interior and learn the history. Spend time at the Inner Harbour watching boats and grabbing food at restaurants nearby. Walk by the Legislative Assembly building, visit Fisherman's Wharf with its shops and sea life, see the Victoria Cenotaph, and pass by the historic Empress Hotel. If time allows, cut through Chinatown to check out the historic buildings and shops. Later, catch the ferry back to Tsawwassen from Swartz Bay and return to Vancouver.
