I can see that the 01 Sep, 2024 is still available and all cabin categories can be booked. As this cruise is operated by S.S Joie de Vivre, I'll quote you the Classic cabin in single occupancy which is the lowest price available - It has a shoulder-high fixed window and the total is $14,816 AUD.

Why are there so many other prices for the same tour?

The price you can see on the tour page is "Starting from" price. This means it will reflect the price of the cheapest cabin available on that specific date. Some cabins will be sold out on specific dates so the next cabin's price will be shown which will reflect as more expensive than the other dates. Pricing could also differ due to the season and the demand.

Are there any balconies that you can sit outside ? I was going to book a french balcony double bed choices are twin or single?

I'm afraid this ship doesn't have any cabins with an outside balcony, but it has outdoor areas on the communal decks. The French balcony cabin has a floor-to-ceiling window. To answer your question about bedding, all cabin categories except the Suite have a Queen-sized bed (which can also be separated into 2 twin beds). The Suite cabin includes one King-sized bed.

We were hoping to find a cruise a little less expensive. We also were checking into Spain and/or Portugal.

We have plenty of economical options available. For Normandy please find a couple of options. For Spain and Portugal, we can offer several options. Should you like any of the options mentioned, please let us know and we shall be more than happy to provide pricing and the relevant details.

Very good service and excellent food. Some of the excursions were disappointing the Normandy d-day beaches tried to cover everything and in that process robs you of the chance to see a wonderful DDay museum in Asante mer eglise. Half the ef ship had tesirsyiry viruses by the end of the tour and unieotkf seemed unwilling to confine anyone who was visibly sick. As a result my cruise was ruined by this event.Show more

My son and a granddaughter had allergies and before each meal the head chef came to our table every meal and told them what was perfect for them and made changes where necessary. The alternatives for the excursions were excellent. My wife and I had been on the cruise for the 75th anniversary of D-Day, and this trip was even more choices.Show more
