David· May 24th, 2025Generally the trip achieved all the programme apart from on incorrect tour which was refunded. The guides and transport all were on time. The guides were excellent. Hotels ranged from excellent to good. The included meals were good. This advertised as a small group tour so there was an expectation of touring with a common group of people. In fact it was a series of a dozen or so separate small group tours so there was never an opportunity to get to know fellow travellers, arrange dinners etc. For a single traveler that was disappointing.Show more

Majority of day tour guides terrific. Disappointing that I was charged a substantial single supplement when I was on a customised tour where there was no hope of sharing?? I don’t get that? Paid a lot for the tour and the hotels in Istanbul and Antalya substandard and most hotels could have been more central. In particular istanbull too far away from main sites and almost inaccessible by car. Walking essential. There are far more central hotels close to restaurants etc tram and sites. I would recommend the tour. There are no mandatory vaccinations as far as I am aware. As we are not experts when it comes to international travel requirements such as visas or other forms, I would not be able to give you credible information. You may refer to your local embassy website for detailed information. Regarding the balloon ride, the price would be 349 USD / Per Person for the high season. The price includes roundtrip transfers to the flight zone, 45-50 minute long balloon flight and a toast of champagne with appetizers after the flight.
