Marrakech
Arrive in Marrakech and head to your hotel to settle in. Spend the afternoon by the pool if you'd like, then meet up with your guide and the rest of the group at 18:00 for a pre-departure meeting where you'll get oriented and hear what's ahead.

Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou
After breakfast you'll drive across the High Atlas Mountains heading toward Ait Benhaddou. Stop for lunch and have time to relax, then take a guided tour through the ancient kasbah village to learn about its history and distinctive architecture.

Landmarks Ait Benhaddou - Day 3
Ait Benhaddou to N'Kob
Drive through the Anti Atlas Mountains and Draa Valley to reach the Berber Oasis of N'Kob. You'll see the 45 mudbrick ksours scattered around, get insight into Ait Atta Nomad culture, and can either take a walk through the Palmerie with its scenic views or share tea with a local family, then return to the hotel.

Landmarks N'Kob Draa Valley - Day 4
N'Kob to Merzouga
Head toward the Sahara Desert with a lunch stop along the way, and in summer months there's an optional swimming opportunity. Transfer to camels in the afternoon for a trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to catch the sunset, followed by the night at an authentic Berber camp complete with local food, music, and stargazing.

- Day 5
Merzouga to Todra Gorge
Leave the desert and drive to Todra Gorge, which has 1000 foot vertical limestone cliffs and is sometimes called Morocco's Grand Canyon. Explore the gorge itself and visit a traditional Berber cooperative to see how carpets are made, or take an optional cooking lesson if that interests you.

Landmarks Todra Gorge - Day 6
Todra Gorge to Ouarzazate
Drive through the Roses Valley and stop to check out rose products if the season allows it. Continue on to Ouarzazate, which has earned the nickname Hollywood of North Africa, with an optional visit to the famous film studios that have been used for major productions.

- Day 7
Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Head back to Marrakech driving through the High Atlas Mountains with great views along the way. Check into your hotel and then have the afternoon free to do as you like. Come evening, dinner takes place in the famous Djemaa El Fna square.

Marrakech
Take an optional guided tour of Marrakech covering the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the Jewish Quarter, or skip it and have more free time. The afternoon is open for you to explore on your own, wandering the medina's narrow streets, visiting lush gardens, or checking out Djemaa El Fna with its markets, food stalls, and street performers.

Drive leisurely to Essaouira, a colorful fishing town sitting within 15th century Portuguese fortifications. Relax on the beaches or walk through the UNESCO-listed medina to see souks and woodcarving workshops. Spend time at cafes with terraces, artist shops, or find a quiet spot with mint tea to watch the sunset over the water.
