Itinerary
- Day 1
Bari
You'll arrive in Bari and your private driver will be waiting at the airport for your transfer to the hotel. Once you've checked in, the afternoon and evening are yours to spend however you'd like. You could rest up after travel, take a short walk around the area near your hotel, or grab an early dinner at a local restaurant to get a feel for the city.

Bari
Breakfast comes first, then you'll join a guided tour through Bari's old town. The Basilica of San Nicola and the Norman-Swabian Castle are the main stops on the itinerary. Your afternoon opens up for lunch at a local spot or trying some street food around the city. Dinner happens back at your hotel in the evening.

Bari - Trani - Castel del Monte - Alberobello
After breakfast, you'll board the coach heading to Trani where you can check out the medieval Jewish quarter and the white-stone Cathedral. From there, the coach takes you to Castel del Monte, that 13th-century octagonal fortress that's a UNESCO site. By late afternoon, you'll reach Alberobello and see those iconic cone-shaped trulli houses. The day wraps up with a welcome toast featuring local wine and taralli.

Alberobello - Matera - Alberobello
You'll have breakfast, then travel by coach to Matera to explore the Sassi di Matera, an ancient cave network that goes back thousands of years. The Romanesque Cathedral there has a bell tower with great views looking out over the Sassi. Heading back to Alberobello in the late afternoon, you'll have dinner and stay overnight.

Alberobello - Locorotondo - Ostuni - Lecce
Leaving Alberobello, you'll stop at Locorotondo, one of Puglia's white towns, to wander around. The coach continues to Ostuni, known as the White City, where you get time for lunch and shopping, including finding that famous local olive oil. By evening, you'll be in Lecce, the baroque center of Salento, for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lecce - Otranto - Maglie - Lecce
Starting with breakfast, you'll join a three-hour guided tour of Lecce's historic center, visiting the 12th-century Cathedral and the ornate Basilica of Santa Croce. Later you'll head to coastal Otranto where you can explore at your own pace and grab lunch. The Cathedral there features a famous mosaic floor and shows influences from Greek, Roman, and Turkish history. Dinner happens at Masseria L'Uliveto farmstead before heading back to Lecce for the night.

After breakfast, you're heading toward Bari across the Murge plateau. There's a stop in Baroque Martina Franca where you can look around the churches, palaces, and Cathedral. Moving through the Valle d'Itria, you'll reach Masseria Montenapoleone for a hands-on cooking class. You'll learn to make orecchiette pasta and then have lunch with local wines. An afternoon stop in fortified Monopoli happens before you return to Bari.
