  Mr Danny was amazing and was on top of things. The weather was a little uncooperative, and he really made sure that I didn’t loose out on anything on my itinerary which I really appreciated. The local guides that were arranged were all great. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was the overnight train ( next time I’ll just fly between cities) but that is just a personal preference nothing to do with the tour.Show more

  Very well organised and communicated. Lovely local guides, helpful, fun and entertaining. Local tour guides we very helpful, accommodating and kind. There were some language challenges with some of the local guides, but that's all part and parcel of it. Food through the tour with local guides was great. Would have liked to meet more people doing the 'same' tour but I guess we just didn't book at the same time as others. We had 1 cross over at the end of our trip where we had 2 days of local site seeing and it was the same group of people which as lovely. Our handler 'Danny' was amazing, he was very flexible when we fell in love with Sapa and extended our night, and very understanding when we had food poisoning and needed a 'lay day' when we were supposed to have a city tour.Show more

  It was billed as a 14 day tour of Vietnam, and when we actually had a tour guide and were doing things, it was great....
  It was billed as a 14 day tour of Vietnam, and when we actually had a tour guide and were doing things, it was great. However, we soon realised that there were many "free" days for us to do things ourselves. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but we calculated 6 days out of 14 were "free" days, which means nearly 50% of the time/cost was NOT Tourradar-related. And to top it off, one day billed as a full day activity, started at 9.38am and ended just after lunch, around 1.30pm. In our view, this does not qualify as being a full day's activity. When we quizzed the guide, he said, nope, that's all there is. And as a non-Vietnamese speaking tourist, that specifically paid for an English-speaking tour guide, I was disappointed at times due to the fact that the Vietnamese-English ratio of speaking was 75/25, which would suggest I lost out on a lot of valuable information. When it was good, it was good. But for overall satisfaction and value for money, we do not think it is worth the money. Given the above, barely scraped in for an "Okay"Show more
