Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival

You'll arrive at your hotel and get settled in. Take time to check out the facilities available, relax after your travel, and prepare for the cycling that starts tomorrow. This is mainly about getting oriented and resting up before you head out on the bike.

  2. Day 2

    Arqua Petrarca

Your first ride takes you through volcanic cones national park where you'll cycle rolling hills with nice views throughout. After that, you'll head to the medieval town of Arqua Petrarca to walk around its narrow streets and small alleyways. From there, it's back to the hotel, so you'll have time to recover and grab dinner.

You'll spend time exploring the Venetian lagoon feel there, then cycle along the ancient Bacchiglione river for most of the day. The river used to carry cargo ships historically, so it's got real character. By evening you're back at the hotel.

Once there, check out the Teatro Olimpico and Basilica, then relax in the town squares. In the afternoon, catch the bus or train back to your hotel so you're not cycling the whole way back.

  5. Day 5

    Padua

Today's ride takes you through Padua along its waterways, which connect everything in the city together in a pretty clever way. You'll see the city wall, visit St. Anthony's Church, stop by Cafe Petrocchi for lunch or coffee, and spend time at Prato della Valle. The waterways make cycling here unique since you'll see the city from different angles throughout the day.

Everything was so well organised we could just relax and ride the bikes. We hired bikes and they were in great condition and gave us no problems- I would definitely recommend this holiday. The accomodation was excellent too.

It was well organised - luggage delivery was great, but the ride was too long in the same countryside which became monotonous and the trail took you through a lot of unattractive industrial and urban areas.
