Salzburg or Trumer Seen lakes
You'll arrive in Salzburg or head to the Trumer Seen lakes for your welcome briefing. The tour operator gets your bike fitted and sorted while you'll meet the rest of the group and get ready to start cycling through the Austrian lakes.

- Day 2
Salzburg to Trumer Seen lakes/Lake Wallersee
Today you'll cycle about 50 to 60 km along the Salzach River heading toward Oberndorf, which is where 'Silent Night' originated. You'll pass through Arnsdorf and by Michaelbeuern Abbey, then move into the Trumer lakes region. Along the way you'll see Lake Obertrum, Lake Mattsee, and Lake Grabensee, though there's a shorter direct route if you need it.

Trumer Seen lakes/Lake Wallersee to Lake Mondsee
You'll pedal roughly 50 km through the Egelseen nature reserve to reach Schleedorf, then continue on to Lake Irrsee before finishing your day at Mondsee. Once there you can stop by the castle and smokehouse if you have time.

Mondsee to Lake Traunsee
From Mondsee you'll cycle along the shore to Attersee. If you're traveling in July or August, there's a boat trip option across the lake, otherwise you'll cycle around it. After that, you'll head through the Aurachtal valley to Lake Traunsee, stopping at Gmunden to see its castle and ceramics factory, plus Altmünster with its bicycle museum and Traunkirchen with the Fishermen's Pulpit.

- Day 5
Lake Traunsee to Bad Ischl to Lake Wolfgangsee
You'll cycle about 45 to 50 km along the Traun River into Bad Ischl, the historic imperial city. There you can walk through the Imperial Park, see the Imperial Villa, and visit Sissi's Tea House and the famous Café Zauner. Then you'll continue cycling along the Ischler Ache to reach Lake Wolfgangsee.

- Day 6
Lake Wolfgangsee to Salzburg
Today's roughly 40 to 70 km ride takes you back to Salzburg. You'll start at St. Gilgen and head toward Fuschlsee with its deep blue water, then pass Lake Hintersee and the Strubklamm gorge. From there you'll go through the Wiestal valley and Glasenbachklamm into the Salzachtal valley. Before reaching Salzburg, stop at Schloss Hellbrunn to check out its park, zoo, and water games. You'll finish in Salzburg itself, home to the festival and Mozart, where you can see the fortress and old town.
