We liked the tour, and the two-night stays, with the optional suggestions for the day between. Our greatest difficulty was with the route notes that often did not match with the signage along the way. At times, we were very confused and reluctant to proceed without finding local people to confirm the route. You dont want to be at the wrong elevation, far out of the way, late in the day and on tired legs. We have done these hiking tours using a number of different companies, but this is the most trouble we have had following confusing directions. A GPS overlay is easily available technology, and should be provided as a matter of safety.....

Beautiful country. The hotels were very comfortable, clean, and safe. the downside was I was the only person on my tour/ circuit. I was so hoping for there to be others that I could have run into and hiked with. However, it was near the end of the season. So my mistake. With Eurohike I had to prompt them to give me information. Like my hotel literary, and hike guide. also I learned after arriving that there was an app that was essential to navigating the trails. Since there are so many junctions and side trails on the course. It took 2 days to get the guide files. As a result for the first 2 days of hiking I lost track a few times & had to back track to get back on the desired trail. I'm sure if I was with other hikers this wouldn't have been as big a challenge. Overall a fairly great experience. Hopefully going to do another one with the lessons I have learned from this one.

Generally great trip BUT we were not clearly I forged if an important meeting with Eurobike on the first evening of the tour. This was vital information that was not clearly given to us. Also, it was not clearly relayed to us that we needed to bring our own helmets even though we rented bikes. Eurobike claims that the meeting information and helmet info was to be given to us by Tour Radar. Disappointed that neither Tour Radar nor Eurobike told us of the 6pm meeting on our first nite of tour. Very very important meeting that we needed to know about!!

"The hiking tour was very good with all hotel reservations and baggage transfers handled smoothly. There were a few times the detailed hiking instructions did not match that actual situation, ie, bus stops not where they were indicated on the detail and in one case, the detailed instructions were not for the correct hike. We were able to figure things out, though, and had a wonderful vacation. A big drawback, in my opinion, is with the insurance provider. My initial trip was for 3 people and one got injured in June and had to drop out. I issued a claim right away and, 2 months later, have still not heard one word from them! I realize you don't deal with the insurance end, but if this is who you are going to have as your sister company, I would probably not buy another trip from you.
