  We would like a approximately 8-day river cruise in Germany, preferably on the Mosel or Rhine. Period is between 29.07 - 31.08. 2024 - we are flexible in this period. Start/end point are also flexible. We need an accessible cabin and the ship must be suitable for wheelchair users.

Deck: Upper Deck. Cabin: Accessible Cabin Category B. Price: €3250,30/-. Croisi is an operator offering barrier-free cabins. The cabin location is suitable as the restaurant, reception and bar are located on the upper deck. The main language on board is English, but the crew speaks several languages as they have passengers from around the world.

    How much is parking at the Cruise Port, customer will have a rental car.

    If you arrive by car, you can book through A-ROSA a valet parking. In your travel documents you will find the reservation card. If you do not want to use this organized valet parking, you would have to find a parking spot near the harbor independently for the time of your trip.
    
    For Passau, Engelhartszell and Cologne is also an online reservation possible.

    We do apologize as the operator does not have a single supplement cabin for the 20th Oct 2023 departure. But they do have a cabin for single occupancy available for the same cruise from 25 October until 30 October 2024 in Cabin Category C for a price of € 1.427,40 (CruiseCountdown Discount until 31 January). We recommend € 8 to € 12 per guest and day for gratuities.

  Trying to book River Cruise #166084. When I entered my Date of birth, a statement "This tour is suitable for 2 to 80 years old Not within the age range. My age is 81 and I don't see an issue with my age, from 2 to 80 or 81?" Is it possible to let 81-year-olds on this tour?

    I had a look for you for the 23rd of September 2023 and can see that the only available cabins would be in Cabin A and Cabin S.

    To answer your question, berth means the ship's allotted place at a dock. The cabin is the room you would be staying in on the ship.

    Do you have cabin for 3 people because 16 years old girl can stay with parents in same room. I can see there's one for 3 people in Category S ( triple room)

    If you wanted to upgrade your room to a Category A we can certainly do this for this and the costing would be AUD 3,983.98 (depending on the exchange rate) per person in a double room. The only problem would be for the triple room as a Category A cannot accommodate 3 people in one room but we do have some other options. We can still place the 3 in a Category S in which the costing would be around AUD 2,519.88 per person (depending on the exchange rate) for this cabin. We also would have a Category E which a two bed junior suite with a couch and this one is priced at around AUD 5,529.42 per person (depending on the exchange rate). The Category E is mucher bigger then the S and the third bed would be a different location. In the S its located a drop down bed above on the other beds while in the E the third person would use the couch. I would highly recommend the going with the Category E as it will give you a lot more space if you decide to spend more time in the cabin.

    Emerald will be one of the only operators who solely operate in English who will have the single cabin available which does eliminate a huge portion of any single supplement charge. Other operators who solely operate in English ,like Scenic, APT, TravelMarvel, Viking, and Avalon for example will have much higher single supplements and therefore a higher price. If you are not not fussed about travelling with a cruise company that does not solely operate in English then this A-Rosa option will be a great option as it of course comes at a lower price as well.

  Could you please share what time the boarding starts? Additionally, what is the service that the onboard guide provides, would they assist the traveler in getting a taxi or a tour to the attractions locally? also, what time is breakfast usually served on the boat?

    Embarkation begins at approximately 3 PM onwards. A Tour Directors' job is to guide passengers during their stay onboard the cruise as per the itinerary. You are welcome to purchase excursions on board the cruise. Breakfast is usually served between 7-9 AM in the morning

  Is this tour includes the transfer to the airport on the last day? If not, how much would it cost? How long will it take from the endpoint on the last day to the airport?

    The transfer is not included from the airport on the last day. The transfer from the ship to the airport would come to 115€ per person. But you only need 15 min from the ship to the Airport. Maybe a Taxi would be much cheaper.

    Will I be able to purchase shore excursions from someone on the boat during the cruise?

    All shore excursions are at an additional cost and booked onboard, these aren't booked in advance and A-Rosa doesn't offer an excursion package. The excursions can only be reserved before the booking through the following link and will be booked, confirmed and paid first on board.

    Shore Excursions with A-ROSA cruises: Our excursions for FIT guests can be booked on board. When the minimum number of participants for an English-language excursion is met, then the excursion will take place. The guide will accompany the tour and usually this guide will use our Audiovox system (which helps to make sure that all guests can easily understand the guide and do not have to hang off his/her shoulder). When the minimum number of participants is not met (English or German), then we try to find a solution for them to still go on excursions (for example our International Host will accompany a German-language excursion with the international guests as a translator). English excursions can be booked on board, other languages are available upon request. We arrange the excursions but they are implemented by local agencies, which are the excursion organizers, and thus also your contractual partners.
